Mass dragon strategy
Hello, I want some feedback about this strategy.
I have been doing this in clan wars and it is really good against TH 8 below and TH 9 i can do 2 stars easily.
But the thing is, whats is the best with mass dragon:
3 lightning spells in the best air defence
3 healing sppels
3 rage spells
my dragons are still lvl 1, thanks :D

I normally don't go for 3 stars but I use 2 rage and 1 heal just go for the town hall and 50% and get 2 stars and be happy with it. Sometimes I manage to get 3 from there though.
-
I use the same strategy and go with 3 Heal spells.
-
I don't think lvl 1 drags would work but I am TH8 and use 2 heal/1 rage or 2 rage/1 heal. Depends on the air defense
-
I take 3 rage spells with me. Drop rage when they're close to an AD or when you have a large mass bunched up. I guess I could justify heal spells, but I wouldn't use lightning (personal opinion)
I don't know how you're 2 starring th9's with level 1 drags unless they're underdeveloped. If you are, then I'd say you don't need to be asking for advice, cause you're doing it right.

I also use dragons in war. My spells include two heal (level 4) and 1 rage (level 4) with lvl3 dragons. I use this strategy to attack TH9 and TH10 to get 2 stars minimum and about 80% of the time getting 3 stars (I am at TH8). The heal spells allow me to keep dragons in the fight when they are headed to the defenses I want to get taken out (TH, AirDef, Wiz Towers). There are a few basic types of raids I encounter in war:
- Air def clustered to one side close to the edge - One rage and one heal as my swarm enters en masse right on top of the air def. The second heal is either saved for later as the remaining defenses that can attack it start causing damage or dropped during the initial attack if I'm taking heavy losses.
- Air def clustered to one side sunken in - I mass raid from the other side to get the best chance of taking out the TH. The spells are used as needed to keep the dragons who are headed into star territory in the fight. Rage is a good thing to have when you've got 3 air def pounding away at your dragons and they are working through the clan castle and storages right around the TH so they can get all the way in.
- Air def spread out but near the edges - I usually dispatch a small group of dragons to attack each air def and then release the Clan Castle once I know which of the groups has opened up things well enough to get to the TH. Layouts may dictate still massing dragons, though. This can be a tough fight at times.
- Air def centralized around TH and sunken in - Worst case scenario for dragon raids (everyone knows this or should know this). The key is planning which entry point will not decimate your army before it can reach the goal. Healing is usually deployed first to keep as many dragons in the fight as possible and then the rage is dropped once the TH is reached.
Now, if you're lucky, some air def is not as developed as others. This usually plays an important role in planning if you need to find the path of least resistance as you will typically come straight at the less developed air def. If it's all maxed then spend some time practicing to get a feel for how the dragons work their way around a base when released. This can be tricky to predict but the more you do it the better feel you get and your instincts will improve and help you land more stars more often.
Good luck. Lizards rock.

I am a TH9, and usually have to attack welloff Th9s, and occasionally TH10s. I almost always experience ADs being inside in a square, and xbows shooting at me. I use 4 rage spells. For my TH8 account i use 3 lightning if I think I could get a three star( If they have low Ads, outside ADs etc.) I lightning on the one farthest inside. If I think I can only get a 2 star(Say against a TH9) I use 3 rage.
