what advantages are there for a mid way through Th8 in crystal? i just hit crystal yesterday and I'm trying to decide if i should drop down or stay for a while. haven't been in crystal long enough to find any advantages myself and don't want to waste my time.

Depends on how active you are. You get a good amount of DE yet TH9's will also wreck you

As the leader of a clan where I am the only crystal, I would have to say with certainty: The badge.
The 21K loot bonus is nice, and there's DE to be had, sure. But every clanless silver or gold in global and their mother will join you because of your badge if you're the only crystal on a global. It's worth it if you want to be a big help to your clan.
If you stay online a lot, more advantage in crystal. More de and more bonuses and loots. Otherwise do not.
I'm a close to maxed TH 8 (all level 7 walls, 1AT left and 1 AD's left to max) You will get revenge stomped for 30+ cups every time you log off. You could try putting your TH outside, but I've noticed I still normally get 100%ed by well developed 9's-10's
Loot bonus is nice though, especially if you're just TH sniping.
Yep. Lots of TH9s going for Master League for All Star Achievement. So TH7 in that trophy range is meat. Even TH8 can't do much about a fully armed TH9.Quote:
