Are Heroes worth upgrading anymore?

My heroes are now in their 20's, I have been putting in considerable effort to upgrade them. I'm beginning to question if the significant time investment that I am putting into the game up upgrade heroes is actually worth it.


Before the update sneak peeks were published i was 100% sure I wanted to upgrade my heroes and was willing to spend most the year slowly upgrading them. I wanted super heroes, I thought they were safe and would remain untouched.

What concerns me is supercell are willing to change their stats and they way the preform at a moments notices without any warning or prior indication.


The question that's floating about in my head now is it worth investing so much time and effort over the next 6 months for SC to suddenly decide heroes are "Too powerful" and need to be nerfed.


Does anyone else have the same concerns as me and are now questioning if they should gamble carry on upgrading?

Barbie doll is weak even at lv40 (think about how it goes against like lv5/6 peeps)

Only the king is losing DPS, but he gets a 50% heal with iron fist.

It's not this update..... It's the fact that supercell are willing to change them so dramatically that concerns me. What's not to say they are not going to nerf them like hogs in 6 months or so....


If I spend the next 20 weeks farming DE like a mad man with my heroes constantly sleeping then I suddenly find heroes get nerfed id be heart broken.

I think its absolutely worth it. The buffs to their abilities are going to be really nice 👌

Heroes are better now. At least they aren't dumb in defending anymore lol

In the interview they said they want to see the heroes used. They want them to be powerful and strong but not too powerful. They have shown they won't just nerf it just move the power around with the special ability and defense. It will be worth it they will never become to the point were they will be useless they need people to feel like it will be worth it to gem it. Plus the farmers to keep playing after they maxed the rest.

dude all online games since online games started are subject to changes every now and then it dosnt mean be dumb and stop progressing.

If you have nothing else to spend dark elixir, then heroes upgrade is quite beneficial. They won't be as before, but they keep getting stronger with each upgrade. Also remember this applies to your opponents as well. Your heroes changed, their heroes changed as well, for better or worse.
