Will mass drags work for TH8 trying to get to master?

I'm also a TH7 trying to get to Masters. You can snipe to Crystal III but from then on, I have no idea what to do :p Mass drag seems to be the only option for me but it takes way too long. Tips?

As a 7 you can barch all the way to Masters with an addition of a dragon and one in the CC --- Crystal I was about 50-50 snipe and 1*s. Just gotta pick the right base --- lotta 8s up there to 1 star.
