Balloonion, hog-rider strategy and even giants-healer strategy are now useless. So I'm not that happy, after the fact.

Heroes take 1 hour at the lowest lvls and up to 3 hours. You can only defend well against one attack, plus if you use your heroes to attack, they can't defend. Additionally, the hero abilities are increased significantly on offense. I predict players will use their own heroes to take out heroes as def heroes can't use abilities. But this change to heroes is certainly not OP, it's not going to make balloonion or hogging useless or obsolete. Being able to lure heroes off to a far corner and surround them with barbs/archers made them essentially useless on defense anyways, so they're just fixing that problem. I for one think it's a good thing, as it doesn't take any skill at all to lure them to a corner and take them out with tier 1 troops. Anyone who says hogging/balloonion/whatever attack strat is useless now since the heroes stay within their radius just doesn't know how to raid to begin with.
