Clan War Tokens

What if there was a new resource, clan war tokens. You would get them for earning stars during your clan war attacks. You could also get bonus tokens if your clan wins.

These tokens could work in one of two ways(or both).

Option 1: Special defenses or troops only purchaseable with tokens. They could even be defenses or troops only for your clan war base.

Option 2: Tokens would work like gems. They could be used to buy resources, speed up upgrading (maybe defenses only), or to train troops faster for war.

I think they would be a great extra incentive for clan members to participate in clan wars, especially if certain things were only available with tokens.

Suggested rates for earning tokens:
Losing clan war
- 1 token for 1 star

Winning clan war
- 2 tokens per star
OR
- 1 token per star + a 3-5 token bonus for winning.

Just a thought!

this could be easily abused, strong players would just go in a starting clan and get stars easily...

Why not only when you do win clan war because all those powerful players would abuse this concept

True, I had not thought of all the OP players dropping to abuse. My main reason for adding tokens if you lose was for the weaker players to still have a chance to get them.

You could base the tokens solely on winning war to help prevent abuse or you could change the total amount earned so it is not worth while for the top players to drop down.

So put a level cap on it? If you take the average level of a clan and the top player is more than one or two standard deviations from the mean then they have a trophies "penalty" just like raiding a village that is so many TH levels below you.

Guys think about it, they balance clan wars, even if good players went to weaker clans they still may not win b/c the weaker players wouldn't b able to 3 star. Especially if the clan topper takes 2 of the easy opponents. So I think the idea of receiving tokens for winning the war only is a good idea
