1 YEAR 1m since our last new defense inferno, 10 mo since last new troop witch.......

** been a 2mo since this thread started, add 2mo to the title times :(

Theres some good stuff in the new update, all balancing. An i do appreciate clan wars, fun addition to the game.

However lets beat the dead horse

For all of us at th10 there has been nothing NEW introduced for us in the game in 10 months since the witch in october of last year. no new defenses, no new th, no new troops. Only cw and balancing. it has been a YEAR and a month (may 23 2013) since the inferno was introduced, since then no new defense buildings....

All of us at th10 who are maxed or mostly upgraded are regulated to just upgrading heroes and walls. at the point the game looses its luster. Every update i talk with my th10 friends in my clan and many others and we all say "there better be something new, this is getting ridiculous" Its getting sad to see the coming soon still on the dark dlix troops page.

Im not a gemmer (except with the occasional $5 pack purchase for troop boosting etc) i didn't start in the game nearly as early as many did and I'm now lvl 116 with only my archer towers left to upgrade. that means theres a ridiculous number of players who are just sitting around doing walls and heroes, maybe trying to hit champ but tons and tons getting bored.

Whats with only balancing everything each time? Its like your trying to make the "perfect" system. Id like to keep playing the game for social reasons (thats really whats keeping me now) but come on supercell, give us some new stuff to strive for and try to attain.

take one look at the ideas forum, everyone and their brother has ideas for NEW troops buildings etc, obviously people want some new things

I'd say wait for the 2 years anniversary on August.

wait long enough and TH11 will be here..... then the upgrade fun starts lol.

it would be nice if they added 2+ th lvld at once, would let all of us bunched up at th10 spread out a bit then, gemmers rush to max 12, some stay to be pure and max out th10 all the way and some go to 11. give the game a bit more dynamics for us again.

good point you have here but don't forget they have added a few game changing features since then but yes new troops and defenses could be cool

Man, these threads are really making me regret pulling the trigger on a fifth builder. With the massive shift in game play we are about to experience I highly doubt TH 11 will be out anytime soon since SC still needs to see how these balancing tweaks will affect game play.

I think your expectations are a little high, they can't just keep creating more buildings for you to upgrade as soon as you max the current ones, that would be ridiculous and newer players would never be able to catch up. Until TH 11 you will be relegated to popping on once or twice a day for wars, collecting from your pumps and mines, upgrading a wall here and there and doing weird attacks for the laughs and the occasional trophy push. Then you will be back to farming like mad when TH 11 comes out, then you'll max it and be back to waiting. That's just how this game works.

There was so much hype over everyone wanting to implement clan wars into the game that I bet a lot of their plans, new troops, progress with the game was halted so we could all have clan wars.

I would bet that the next update will have a new DE troop (this was also hinted at in chief pats video - you will see that their are balloons twice in the scroll bar. The second set of balloons is in the new future DE Troop slot would be my bet)....

I am a TH10 also, and I would also like to see new content... But, I do think this update has changed every aspect of the game in some way.

enough betting SC needs to put up or shut up. enough with the new levels in old troops. Its getting old, REAL OLD.

You know that like the random balloon in godson video, SC are experimenting with alot of unreleased troops and buildings! Also you should understand that they need to have alot of new stuff done for a new th to be released which takes more time the more ths that are already here! So I do think that this is reason enough to wait longer for each big update and if you are maxed and bored then either quit playing or take a nice break until the big update is here :)

The Clash of Clans Team seems to be short on development power despite their massive revenue.

That, OR the leadership is handcuffing the Dev Team out of fear they will mess up the cash flow with a bad update.

the thing is newer players already have about 1.5-2 yrs of solid play to catch up, where as god knows how many people there are at th10 are just stuck twiddling our thumbs. So making considerations for new people who have a lot of fun stuff to do really doesn't make sense. Yea we will be rushing up being excited for something to do but when a new lvl is introduced, historically thats a new lvl for most defenses, a new lvl for walls (which at th11 would add a year of reading lol) and new troops. For non hemmers its going to give us a few months of new things to do.

I totally agree...hugely disappointing that no new troop is coming although i remain hopeful (maybe stupidly so) that 2yr anniv will net something more than a 1 gem boost to celebrate. CWs was a great add, and I appreciate they sunk a lot of development time into it, but the lack of new troops/content needs to be addressed more quickly than in a year :(

Yeah, I know that's the case and in a way it can be seen as being punishing, but as an addict to this game I am actually looking forward to the relief of having a maxed base with nothing to work on but walls so I can just play casually. Maybe I'm being selfish but I'm almost done with TH 9 and am really looking forward to playing with the big boys at TH 10, if TH 11 comes out soon that will set me back drastically, I would be crushed having the end zone moved on me like that.

If they come out with a new level of walls (ESPECIALLY if they reduce cost of level 10's, I'm almost done with them) I may have to rage quit, I've already invested way too much time farming to be one level below max, two levels below would be insane.

This would definitely be a way to spice the game up! I for one would love to see this idea! It would for sure make the game more interesting! Would probably bring a lot of players back to the game!

trust me that inzone and its feeling of accomplishment / completion lasts for about 5 min... In thinking of other games that are linear, once you "beat" the game, you usually move onto the next game. think of all of us that are there and either quitting to play something else or just hanging around in limbo.

In the same vein it'd be nice if they added 5 new de troops at once. Let people be overwhelmed with decision and stratagey. They'll spend countless he's researching, tweaking, and considering their best ways to farm,, defend, and push/war. One new troop can't be game changing unless it's OP. Five new troops.. Would revitalize gameplay for lots of people and confuse lots of noobs :).

If there is another th lvl they will have to rethink the inflation of costs else one is going to need a helluva lot of storages to actually upgrade anything

No those are just balancing of existing things. If I already upgraded my jump spell or valk to max, the change doesn't give me anything new to train or buy just changes how i use it

Look I think this is the first update in ages that makes the game NEW. It changes the whole way attack and defence will be played ... What could be more new?

personally im apprehensive about the new valks jump and pekka and can see offering attack more degrees of freedom is going to be near impossible to defend due to adverse selection (the attackers ability to select bases they attack) but im excited about the game being turned on its head so we all going into unknown territory.

Well i appriceate the change is dynamics as i stated at the top of the post but when you have nothing new to spend on, i bileve is the point, everything introduced most of us already have except for the new tesla lvl

Why should I even want to gem any new stuff that comes out when every 1.5 month there is a maximum of 2-3 weeks of upgrading content being added?

Btw I'm a maxed TH10 doing teslas lvl 8 and pekka 5 atm.. 2 weeks of upgrading left and then the waiting for new content continues..

I have two accounts: a th8 and a th5. For my th8 acct, this update only served to weaken my heroes, other than that no change, since i dont use hogs. For my th5 acct, there was ZERO change. I think if they add new content, it should be availible to more th levels than just th10. Just saying

To make two town halls and add new troops and levels to every defense would be a mess though and very time consuming. Update would take at least two months. And don't forget the 8 mil/14 day upgrade cap. What happens to that?

they would grade all the lower upgrades down like they usually do, more of a 1m difference between lvld instead of 2m.

Problem is, the ratio between maxed th10's and th9 below isn't on par. There are still lots of low th players who play the game.

They rather invest in new players than old ones. Just like in every sport/game. :(

Do what I've done and move to the competition ♥♥ is so much better for new content to keep things fresh, virtually no nexting to find loot, wars, and regular contests

coc is missing too many tricks not catering for the long term, focusing on short term gain

after 6 months of having nothing but walls and heros to farm, im done. Last update killed the little i had left, shame as this was by far my fave game in years :( boredom and endless nexting have driven me to quit :(

I want new troops that open up more strategies - right now very little is viable at th10 (GoWi is king)

Idea - Warlord, units in radius of this unit will fight for 3 secs (of whatever) after death. Also those units follow the warlords path roughly. Would be huge for Barch were more tower OHKO there units but less of a deal for other units - skeletons would be omitted due to that being way OP

Or other things that promote VARIETY!

Thats the prob, cant tell you how many high lvl people i know have quit. The games loosing swaths of people who have playing their game for the long term, which common sense would say would be your best "customers" odd that your not catering to them.

other big this is new people to the game have so much to do, tweaking things for them has little impact as opposed to adding new content at the top.

Hardly an update making something useless finally do something good.

Those se who gem the new thing are a small percent and will get bored after sometime. But it give the rest of us something to push too. And this keeps the game moving and not stagnant. Keep higher level player happy so that they keep driving lower levels to the higher levels

They didn't "just" say Th11 isn't even on their radar. They said that over 3 months ago in an interview with Daddy that was released April 5th.

Fiddling around with current troops/spells, nerfing and buffing got old a long time ago.

The funny thing that I noticed was that when the latest update came out (Next lvl jump spell, tesla, and pekka), lots of people on the forums were complaining that supercell was doing too much for the high level players. As always, you can't please everybody.
