Why do th8s pretend they have only one attack option?

They have the same wiz and drags as th9....excellent troops. And max rage....as a th8.

Now you can get good valks and a good king. It is very possible to make a tough base at th8.....I did and I had the base that attackers avoided in clan wars, and elsewhere.

Don't forget we get golems and (lv3?) pekkas,valks,and if you knew what you were doing with hogs you should still be able to use them albeit you will have to plan now

If you don't actually work at Supercell as a developer or a data analyst, I don't think anyone really knows what's good for them or not. Just saying. You guys know they have all the data right in their face, right? So I'm pretty sure, they know what they're doing. Unless they are just a bunch of trolls, trolling around like no trolls business.

Supercell has brought balance to the force.

Exactly. Let's give the update a chance. We don't know how everything will settle down and play out. Everyone needs to play the game first and then based on how we react and adjust to the updates we can judge everything.

Most casual players stop at TH8. Because That's where things start to get expensive. I think it's only the casual players who are upset that there isn't much more new to offer them. As a TH8, I can see how this is upsetting. Imagine planning on staying at TH8 forever, because there's no way you're going to spend any more than say twenty minutes a day playing this game to obtain those seven digit upgrades.

They just want to enjoy being TH8, but now it APPEARS (we don't really know yet, see above) as if TH8s got the short end of the stick so life as a TH8 will be harder. But the casual player will not spend any more time/effort for this relaxing game they found at the App Store so It's a legitimate gripe. Personally, I think casual players should just stop at TH8...

...or throw a bone to casual players! Give them something that TH7s can also be eligible for at least!... But I don't think SC will focus too much on non-gemming casual players who don't pay. Not saying everyone gems, just referring to the types of players casual players never will be.

In short let's sympathize for our fellow casual players stuck in this situation:
1) They don't gem or will ever put in the effort to get to TH9 because it's too pricey.
2) Some have even spent twenty minutes a day on the game. So they want to enjoy ALL the updates too.

Under these conditions they have a legitimate complaint. Why can't they enjoy them?
