Th 9 going to be too OP?

I think the update will really make th 9 too OP. Town hall 8 barely has access to decent level valkerys, due to troop cost, and especially there is no jump spell for TH 8. At th 7 you get alot of new stuff, and at th 9 you get alot of new stuff. However, at th 8 and 10, I think alot of offensive new stuff lacks. You get the AQ in TH 9, but my main concern would be the jump spell. I really think the jump spell is going to be the new way to go: Imagine it, all the troops are going with the flow of jump spell: you sent in some valks, some wizards, some witches, a golem, a pekka, and your heroes, and you just set 4 jump spells on your way to the town hall. Don't you think this would be OP? A TH 8 won't come close whatsoever in pulling this off. less army slots, not even some new from th 7... not an AQ... no decent valkerys...

Valkery is 50k to upgrade to level 2 even, do you think any TH 8 would have the DE for that?

in short: Do you think the level 7 army camps or the jump spell should be reduced to TH 8? Or the price of atleast lvl 1>2 valkery reduced?

Good point. Th8 people usually dont need valkeries as they are mostly farming. TH10s may use the same troops as th9s but have inferno towers on defense. I think it is a nice balance (At least for th10s and th9s)

Ofcourse TH 8's are mainly farming if they have no chance in offence. But I'm looking at clan wars now. In clan wars, I really dont think TH 8 is fair compared to TH 9 in terms of offense.

Yeah... being a th 8 sucks for wars... can SC please just give something good to us th 8s to help make attacking easier? If they are nerfing hogs AND boosting things which, as stated by the starter of this thread, only help th 9s, then how is this fair at all???

Just go to th 9 if you feel unhappy in th 8. IMO, it is a game and it meant to be fun.

As far as I've seen they aren't nerfing hogs, they're simply increasing the damage of the giant bombs. So many people are hailing this as the end for hogs, but it really isn't if you know how to use hogs effectively. Sure it'll be trickier if a base design is good enough to have multiple spots where GB's could be hiding, but if they're pretty obvious all you have to do is send in two or three hogs to set them off, then send in the rest of your hog horde to do the job as normal. Sure, the hero lure will change the hog tactic a little, but in my experience the barb king is too slow to effectively chase down a group of hog riders, by the time he does catch up they've wrecked all the defenses and all gang up on him and take him down before moving on to wreck other parts of the base.

you cpuld upgrade to TH9 if you prefer to be at TH9.

From all TH levels I have played, TH8 was the most frustrating one....you stand no chance in defence and you cannot take on the bigger guys in offence, because you only have level5 troops and little dark elixir.

Nines dont need all that new stuff to beat an eight. Simple loonion works just fine three star, Tens pick on nines, nines on eights, eights on sevens. Its just the way it is and should be

Thats a good point, hogs might still be ok. I'm just kinda put off that these updates are targeted at hogs in particular

IF TH9 was so OP, instead of giving more upgrades to TH8s that dont suffer as bad a loot penalty, why not just make the TH8s go up to TH9.
