TH7 2 Day Journey to Crystal League- Tips and Tricks

Hey all. Three days ago I started my journey to Crystal League from Gold III in just 2 days of playing, carrying along almost 20K DE on my way. I know theres many guides out there but I'd also like to share me experience in the high-level region :)

Army Composition
My army consisted of:
- 4 Wall Breakers
- 8 Giants
- Half Barbs and Archers

Okay, lets get started!

1450-1850

This is the easiest bit of my journey. In one day I purely sniped TH all the way up to this part. Your TH can be inside if you'd like, but I put my outside just because I can :) 99.5% of all farmers here have no traps, just deploy barbs and archers to this point. If you are worried about draining elixir and gold, the league bonus' will cover for you.

1850-2000
Now comes the hardest part of the second half of the journey. Many farmers turn into maxed TH8, TH9 and TH10. Also a majority of the farmers have their TH inside of the walls, or surrounded by Heroes, Giant Bombs, Teslas, Spring Traps, etc. Use Giants as a distraction and WB if needed. Barbs to act as secondary meat shield and Archers as main offence. The last 50 cups or so should be tough as most farmers become quite scarce, but keep hitting Next until you see a farmer :) Putting your TH outside is also recommended.

Maintaining and going higher
At this point, where I am right now, is quite hard. I am currently doing all drag attacks, using lightning spells and AD against TH7/8 with 30+ trophies, or using the army comp above to scrape a 1-2 star. If you are confident, use BARCH against bases that are weak against it but we warned of Heroes and CC troops which ruins a successful BARCH raid easily. My best source of trophies is from still sniping, which is very rare and can take over 100n nexts. I currently stand at 2200 trophies.

Dark Elixir
My Heroic Heist was bumped up from 79K to 105K so DE is plentiful on the way. Zap 1000+ storages and raid full DE drills.

PS. You get revenged a lot at Crystal! Make sure to put your TH outside to prevent a 30+ trophy loss :)

Once you hit crystal, its rather hard to maintain there. I'm struggling to get past 2050 because there is virtually no farmers and hitting TH8s with a simple giant-barb-acher combo is very hard. Dragon rushs works exceptionally well though.

This is pretty standard knowledge amongst the community, but it should help a few low levels.

Also, you're getting revenged a lot for lightning the Dark Elixir storages. Not smart when you're pushing. You'll need the elixir if you plan on going further.

My Elixir currently stands as maxed. Currently all my revenges are from people I snipe, none are from people I zap.

Is it possible to push to crystal and still gain loot to pay for the troops?
Every time that I see someone pushing trophies with TH 7 I wonder that they just fill up 4 mil gold and elixir and searched for TH outside, do I need to do that before going to push?

Definitely not! I pushed when I was TH6 upgrading to TH7 and had maybe 500k in storages of each every raid. I would just fill up my barracks with archers and search at 2-3AM in the morning for farmers. It is very hard, but to answer your question no, it is better if you go will less loot because the bonuses will usually pay for your losses. Bring 3 Lightning but try not to use them. You will get loot if you go mass archer.

a funny trend i found in crystal league is that it's almost impossible to find farmers in multiplayer battles, but every1 that nukes your base are farmers.

I went into the bottom of Crystal as a TH8, and into the bottom of Masters as a TH9, and it indeed gets a lot harder as you go higher.

I am not into the continuous clicking of "Next" to find Snipe targets. I like to play the game faster. Not that there is anything wrong with Town Hall sniping; totally valid strategy.

From 2000 to 2200, things are getting more serious, in general. 2200 to 2400, the percentage of TH8s drops to almost nothing, and TH9s are getting scarce.

2400 to 2600, you're seeing almost all TH10s, even with my deal, lots of clicking past TH10s and their Inferno Towers...
