It was one of my teammates during CW. It was hogs, archers, and healers. His entire group of hogs were wiped out by two giant bombs (just horrible luck). Then 4 wizards came out of the CC to wipe out all of his archers. The healers were of course useless by that point. Ended with 0%. It was a strange thing to see.

No you just have no skill, hogs aren't about luck if you think they are then you don't know hogs, hogs take skill. People who complain about them make me laugh, why complain some people (and I am one of them) are good with hogs and now what to do with them. It ain't about luck with hogs its mainly skill.Quote:

Wizards in CC will do that to you man. I run Giant/Healer and when max wizards come out of the CC and I don't have a lightning spell with me, they will make my giants freaking disappear in a second.Quote:

Sometimes I can't even use lightning on them quick enough before they've killed all 10 of my giants, it's unbelievable when you can't lure them.
I'm surprised more people don't want wizards for CC, I always ask for lvl5+ wizards for CW because if someone doesn't take care of CC early, they will absolutely rip you apart.

Don't get me wrong, there are skilled hog players, but terribly unskilled players can use hogs and 3 star basses by holding their finger down, which means something isn't quite right.
You should never be able to destroy a well designed base with 1 troop and 1 finger, never.

If any base can be 3 stared by a person just simply holding down one fingure to spam hogs then its the defenders own fault since their base is very poorly designed and their cc is empty.Quote:

1. lure clan castle this is basic knowledge for any clasher with any troops
2. put your troops down in batches. also another basic knowledge fact for any army
3. all hogs have to watch out for is double bombs which can be easily spotted if they are on the inside and if you do 1 and 2 above you will spot them.
other troops have to watch out for all the traps and such even more so then hogs because they get stopped by walls and funnel'd.
your clan mate didnt have the basic knowledge that all clashers should have and thats why he failed.

I use hogs for CW, why wouldn't I? It's the easiest/quickest to build and is guaranteed to 3 star 9/10 bases.

I was 3 started in the last clan war as i was attacked by 45 lvl 5 hogs. This was for two reasons.1) the hog pack split &, after taking out the the rest of one group, one single hog with a minuscule bit of health triggered my only double bomb. the other pack had only a very small amount of health left and would have been killed by a single big bomb but i had none left. 2) my war base design is slightly different to my current layout.... And I was undecided whether or not to move a spring trap. Should have moved it in hindsight.
Also hogs dont necessarily jump over walls all the time - if there's a gap in the wall immediately in front of them and a defence the otherside they will go through the gap. The others will jump if a wall is in front of them. It is difficult to funnel hogs..... but not impossible over short distances
That reminds me of my clan last war. The opponent's th 10 attack our th 7 player. He use hog and put jump spell on the hog and freeze spell the lowest level archer tower.
Hogs don't take much skill on th 8-9 bases they take a lot on a th 10 with multi infernos though. I never complained about hogs it was just funny to see every cw base anti hog lol.Quote:
