I am just about to start my TH upgrade to 9 beacause I have maxed everything. The problem is is that I'm stuck at 35 k DE, not even enough for the queen. I either get smashed by a TH9 and lose 2k or get lightninged by a TH7 for 600-800 DE. I feel like my base is a solid design, and that there's not really any way I can stop these 2 kinds of attack. I need some help, I would like to at least save up 50 k, preferably 80 but I don't think that's going to happen at this rate. Please help.
Suggestions:
1. Place your town hall way outside, away from any defenses to try to attract snipes.
2. Raid more DE in a session than a th9 can take back.
3. (This sometimes works) Go up to about 1850-1950 cups, where people are desperately looking for snipes to get their gems at 2000. This, in combination with #1, will help give you a shield.
It is tiresome and getting hit for 1800 sucks, but ultimately I did not really have any problems getting to 80k DE when I was a th8 (just went to th9 two weeks ago).
