Defensing Against GoWi + Heros + Freeze

My clan has been trophy pushing so I've pushed farmed into Masters II

The last two times in Masters II I had similar experiences - being trashed by GoWi with high level heros and the freeze spell

Hogs, not a problem
Drags? Not a big deal
Loons, only if you got mad skills
GoWi without freeze and heros? Ha!


But as I state I am getting smashed regularly. I've set 1 inferno to single target but I have mixed feelings. They are just so easy to counter. Add witches, freeze, heck just use the AQ cloaking ability.


Any advice?

Nothing you can do exept uninstall. Its not a joke. You def wont stanf vs gowi only way is hope for mistake of attacker.

There really is nothing you can do against it. Just got to live with it.

You can change your base to be reliant on traps/cc troops. Then, you can hope for a fail that is made easier to cause. A teaser style base could work, as well as bases that lure golems away.

Can you defend against the top GoWiWi attackers? Not really. Are the people who use GoWiWi in master 2 the top GoWiWi attackers? Absolutely not. I can't say my base does amazingly well against them, but here are a few basic tips:

1. Try to place your giant bombs out of the way of golems, but in places where wizards tend to cluster (look at replays).
2. Have a tough-to-lure cc (many GoWiWiers will just ignore it), and choose your troops wisely. I've found that having a lot of archers can work quite well, as the attacking heroes will take forever to kill them.
3. Minimize the effectiveness of freeze, although you shouldn't spread your base out too much. You definitely don't want both infernos to be taken out with one freeze, for example.
4. Finally, try to have a fairly unique design. It's ok to take ideas from other bases, but you should do most of the design yourself, as attackers will do much worse against a base they've never seen before.
