im making this mini guide about maximizing your storage and elixir storage as i feel that most people are afraid to fill these two due to raids.well the truth is holding on to full storages actually decreases your % loss.i just upgraded to th9 a week ago so im playing with a lot of numbers since my WT,AD,MORTARS are still at a th8 level so getting those 4/5 million upgrades is still new to me and for those who are new to th7-9 should know when the cap is being reached and what to do next when all your builders all busy for the two days
according to wiki raids shows the following table

if you had full storage the amount looted remains the same but the actual loss percentage goes down.i know getting 3 starred is painful but i found that im having full storages losing is no longer that painful.if you already reached the minimum amount that reaches the cap amount for your respective th i suggest your try to fill up your storages as the % loss decreases.i know so many of you guys on the forum already know this but i just reminding you that its better to fill them up unlike as a th 9 you keep your gold on 3 million thinking you are hiding because the truth is you are risking losing 12% in stead of 5% of your loot and making it very difficult for yourself to upgrade those xbows and wizard towers.good news is that you wont get 3 starred all the time and the are still th snipers.feel free to criticize me but these upgrades are getting longer and longer so i cant stop playing because im waiting for a builder to be free or keep my gold low due to fear of being raided.raiding is part of the game nothing you can do about.i hope a helped a few out there .i only focused on th7-9

DARK ELIXIR

FOR TH7 dark elixir wont much due to weaker troops,only 5 levels of BK which are all under 22k DE so you wont reach the 33k cap and for th8 DE starts being a mission towards the end your th8 journey when you do the last two upgrades of the BK level 9(35k de) &10(40k DE) and saving up for AQjust make sure your teslas are level 6 at this point because they helped me save up for the AQ,just put them next to your de storage and if you happen to exceed 33k de th9 can only take 1800 de from your storage due to loot penalty.this is the reason why no de guide has not made for these two townhalls. townhall 9 we all know brandon if you dont , here is a link http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...K+ELIXIR+guide
