I'm a th 7 and I would say I'm about 60% maxed out, you can check out my base in a clan titled AZ-Mafia and my IGN is BlacKidWingSt. Anyways does the sub 200 farming work? Cause I really want to max out my walls and ill need a couple more million for the rest of my defenses
ive seen this quite a bit and im curious, by sub 200 farming do you mean 200 trophies? like dropping down to ~200 trophies to find abandoned bases or what?
Yes and no. I have done sub 200 farming but it's difficult to do and here's why. You need a very long amount of time dedicated to farm effectively, because literally if you logout for 10 seconds your base will be raided and you'll need to launch another 10-15 attacks (sometimes more) to get back to below 200. Then once your done farming its a long and tedious climb back to your trophy range with loot being near nothing.
To me it's not really worth it, I climb up and down the gold leagues and sometimes silver finding inactives to farm, and the best part is I can logout for a bit and not worry about needing to drop trophies.
My personal opinion is to drop down to 1100 trophies as you can average 100k per raid and if you place your town hall on the outside, no one hardly ever attacks for your loot
It works,but it depends how much time you have,I was there a while ago and there is a huge diversity of base strengths I took a few Screenshots to demonstrate what I mean,also as the last 2 images show you can find the same victim many times in a row as long as they dont receive a shield;),the log is continues like that,although that was a pretty good day,now everyone goes there and loot is pretty dry:(,these are from early TH8

I have a lot of time to play guys, its just to tempting to do it because people say they get 4 million in like 2 hours
When i was a th8 i loved sub. I could average 1.5 mill an hour. Lookin back i shoulda boosted a rack. Dont forget you can also revenge those who troop drop on you

I think it should be tried at least once so you can say you tried most aspect of clash.
From what I read it's no longer practical after TH8 because of the loot penalty so TH7 is a pretty good time.
It's basicaly going under 200 trophy and raiding with goblins around 20 or so. If you are able to boost even better. But it's very annoying to climb back up going through the no loot zone. When I was there I aimed for around 40k resource.
At sub200 as soon as you log off you will be attack instantly but don't forget to revange on those who drop trophies look for single Barb King or single level 5 troop. Some has full of dark elixir. If I was down there after my goblins raiding session, I would purposly do a couple of round of droping and log off letting other droper attack me to fill up the defense log, full of sweet revenge with dark elixir availible.
Going down is not that bad, it's just the trip back up that super annoying to do. Unfortunaly from what I heard the loot has been lower lately. But do report if you go down there.
EDIT: Also important to never give them 40% so they don't get shield. It happen often that you can attack the same village twice so always surrender before 40%.

i was also wondering if this is still effective. i'm relatively new to clash (th6 90% maxed). i was sitting at ~1200 and dropped down to 150 and i'm not seeing the results i expected. i watched videos of people getting over 500k loot and the highest i've seen in my own experience so far is ~20k. very disappointing.
am i doing something wrong? i'm even keeping the enemies below 40% so they don't get a shield

Also I heard the loot has been poor latly but maybe it's just the time of the day. Like eveywhere else sometime you get lucky streak and sometime you come up with nothing, As a TH7 I made about a milions per hour when I was down there a few weeks ago doing 30K to 50K raid.

Do not believe everything you hear until you have tried it yourself :) I just finished looting over a million of both gold and elixir in an hour as TH8 using just gobs and wb's so it is worth it.Quote:

Take a look at this thread. It's hard for you to drop trophies below 200 trophies. If you have much time, you can have a try.
It works so good, loots are very great if u are under 200, u can get 150k+ loots and 1000+ dark for each raid. The only dis is people keep raiding at u and raise ur trophy, so every time u raid u need to spend more time dropping. u can gt up to 100 trophies in just 20 min. Hope this helps! :)
