Impossible question to answer as we all play for different lengths durin the week due to other commitments etc...long as ur happy and enjoying it what else matters..

I've been playing since beta version and am maxed . Am th9 and anxiously waiting for the new update ;). At last some bonus for high trophies will at least give trophies some importance . Besides self esteem and a desire to be no1. :p
Only been playing for 2 months but I do see the end of my TH8 journey. Will have all purple walls within a week, all archer towers level 9, cannons are max, Wiz Towers max, mortars maxed and teslas nearly maxed. Done with all the important elixir upgrades now just doing peekas, wizards and balloons and what not.
Started November 12, 2012. I'm working on maxing out my TH8.
Started in late July... no gem purchases (still only 3 builders -- learned from that and got four builders without buying gems on my second account) -- xbows, mortars, wizard towers maxed, 2 max aird, one level 6, spells maxed, all original troops maxed except balloons still level 5, walls all level 8 and 9 except a few are lower still from the "walls update". Everything else still has a ways to go including mines and extractors which are very low for my level. As others have indicated, troop donations have inflated my level to 91.
I started in September and have an almost maxed out th8 at level 80. I like to think its pretty good for someone who doesn't gem.
According to my Game Center I started on the 19th August, currently with a maxed out TH 8 base with TH being upgraded. I haven't gemmed apart from buying my 4th builder..and am level 88 :)
On a side note, how many troops do you reckon you guys have donated in total?
