*WARNING* "Big Bully" - High Level Clan-Kicker

We had a troubling experience last night in my clan, which is a top 100 clan that has seen it all...

...or, so we thought. :mad:

Enter "Big Bully" -- a veteran player with 3100 trophies level 100+. :cool: Top 300 player in the world. Charming and articulate...

After ingratiating himself for a few minutes and handing out black dragons to everyone, he asked our leader if she would promote him for "1 minute" so he could invite a friend, another high level player. Apparently, he "was only available on his GC".

Our leader was hesitant at first, but we have a bunch of players at that level, plus he seemed more than legit, so our leader finally granted his request...

A few seconds later he began kicking non-elders in our clan, just like a low level idiot we've all seen before. :mad::mad:

Luckily, our leader was quick to limit the damage and boot his sorry azz. Also, we have been fortunate to get everyone back.

Watch out for this guy... He's true to his name.

I wonder if he will be banned if reported. He wasn't rude or vulgar, so can't charge him for that.

But if i get screenshots of a kicker, will he be banned? Or he can get away with it?

My clan recently had the same problem, gives out pekkas, seems nice, gets elder, BOOM!, only 15 people left in your clan. Thanks for the heads up though.:cool:

CoC is a big community, but the high level trophy arena isnt that big, so why tarnish reputation in that manner haha.. after spending so much time.. (and maybe money, I have not seen his village, so i'm not sure)

To me clan-kicking like this is essentially a "war crime" in COC... It can irretrievably ruin and destroy a clan and many of the relationships that have been built... And for what???

It's not acceptable.

It amazes me a guy on this level -- someone who has pumped in thousands of hours (and perhaps thousands of dollars) -- is still up to these antics.

This guy is an unmitigated low-life.

Some of the replies surprise me... I'm pretty sure some of you regularly reply to these threads with "guess you should be more careful with who you promote", so...

Thats an interesting point.. maybe he was attempting to break apart that clan apart.. thats what happen when you are too famous.
For whatever reasons he or his old clan may have..

then again, it might just be him being himself, a big bully. lol..

Thing is, it is acceptable, it's just someone's way of having fun. No-one got hurt, no money was taken, just learn, and know the rule we dish out to new clans all the time - don't promote until you really know someone! And anyone who was kicked can just ask to get back in, right? It is a stupid thing to do, but in online games like this you are connected to thousands and millions of potentially stupid people. Would you give your wallet to someone you just met who was charming, to "hold for a bit while you did up your shoelaces"? Hell no.

You're mostly right, hard to argue with this logic.

However, may main point was to warn people...

It was done with such expertise, and by a player with such "stature", that I would think he's able to consistently pull it off.

Even on many of you, I suspect.. even if you think you would know better.

When someone is in the top few hundred in this game, it's hard to fathom that they would do something like this... Just as it would be hard to fathom someone in your clan who had been there for a long time -- who you feel you "know" -- suddenly "losing it" and kicking everyone.

I guess this is why there are "all elder" clans -- that way no one can be kicked in such a scenario. And, conversely, there are "no elder" clans, for the same reason.

In the end, anything can happen when dealing with peoples shrouded by the anonymity of the internet...

Nonetheless, I choose the to have faith in most people, and therefore like to play the game with some "trust"... Of course, when you trust, you can get burned sometimes.

Watch out for this guy.

This happened to my clan too. He was over level 80 and thought he was big stuff...

He's stupid.
I would have waited till the leader was gone before I'd start kicking.
not that I'd ever do that though:rolleyes:

But in DTP everyone has such a great time they'd all coem back if they got kicked, I think of this as a loyalty test.

Supercell needs to fix the fracking game.

1) Someone promoted to Clan Elder cannot kick anyone until 24 hours have passed (prevents the kick attack).

2) New members cannot donate or request troops until they win at least one multi-player battle (solves the problem of idiots joining clans temporarily just for the achievmenets).

Both of them would be ♥♥♥♥ tbf. Nothing wrong with the status quo, it's just an occupational hazard.

Same thing happened to our clan. Watch out for level 80 "ihopuhop." Obviously we should have known by the name. He pulled the same ♥♥♥♥. Came in, some nice donations, asked if he could invite a friend, then commenced the kicking. Unfortunately our leader wasn't on, we're still recovering.

1. Prevents nothing. They will just kick everyone in 24 hours.
2. Who cares if they join, donate and leave? This is just an unnecessary hurdle.

These events seem to happen far too often for comfort. Surprisingly, it seems that some high trophy/level players also do this. I always thought that the potential reputation damage would've been sufficient to discourage them though. :(

One would think, but don't kid yourself... In the top clans the top players all know each other. It's a relatively small community. 3100 trophs is an elite cadre of peeps in is game, and most care about how they're perceived.

Well clearly this person and perhaps their clan don't care. Even if they did, few people will see this; fewer people will remember it in about a week or so, and even fewer still will actually care.

Regardless this is why you either promote everyone or no one. That makes it impossible to do this sort of thing, period.

Exactly! There are simple solutions to these problems but for some reason people don't safeguard against this type of griefing.

Sure, having an all-elder clan prevents the clan-kickers... But, it also creates an out-of-control clan culture, where there is little control over who is entering your clan.

And having no elders doesn't work well, either, unless you have a leader who is literally on 24/7.

There are no simple solutions to this, except extreme care in promoting someone.

If there's no rule against it, it's part and parcel of the game, deal with it. That's his way of playing, who knows why? But you really should be more careful about who you promote, that's basic common sense. I would kick the person who promoted him without thinking tbh.

I have no idea what you mean by that. I have never been in an all elder clan that was out-of-control anything.

Bonbee is a Cat is all elder and we've NEVER seen anything like that either

Sounds like you have a bunch of idiots in your clan if you can't promote everyone to elder without having huge problems with random invites.

This clan "The Lost" was rude arrogant and manipulative. They are mad that they got won over. They kicked my friends and they should learn their lesson. Good on me....... Bad on you....... Lesson in life it will do you good in the future. NEVER TRUST ANYONE. The Leader is who promoted me and should be smarter next time. Nanny nanny boo boo.
