learn to do storage raid on th7/8/9 at around 1500. There is no such base. When you reach ~10k DE, th8 will come and take 500+ from you. Your best bet is to boost your barrack when you are close and get >5000 DE in 2 hrQuote:

Use lightning or farm drills at higher trophies. Some videos for your reference.
This is personally my own opinion, but don't even bother. I would wait until TH8, and you'll get a DE drill which will provide you DE. I personally don't think losing that many trophies from lightning(ing?) dark elixir storages will help you in the long run, as you'll eventually be in leagues where there are TH6's with no storages.
From what I have heard, the drill doesn't even give you that much DE and thanks everyone for your replies. I look forward to trying them out. Also, is there any bases that are recommended to protect you against healers and giants?Quote:

I could not really protect the DE, so when you are close to your goal, try to stay online until you get to your goal and spend it immediately.
One way in which you can use lightning is that when you are near your goal, you can see if anyone on your revenge list has a lot of DE that you can't reach -- that is a good time to use lightning.
I agree with the storage raid using barch/wb/rage. Throw in a few giants as well. Just remember to loot extra hard when you are only 6000 DE short. With boosted barracks, it's quite easy to get >6000 in 2 hr. Just got my BK to level 5 as a level 49 TH7 :D It's fun!Quote:

I farmed my BK as a TH7 in a few days. I didn't go very high in trophies, in fact I stayed between 1100-1250 trophies, and I found, after a lot of nexting with patience, bases with 200+, 300+ and even 600+ DE easy to raid. Also did it while my spell factory was upgrading, so no lightning for me. I raided with BARCH every 20 minutes, so I had to be very very active all day. It paid of.
You just need to keep pushing and if you lose some DE, go raid for more than you what you lost. But I found that at that range very little people have DE, so the risk of being raided was low.
