CoLeaders have way to much power.

Before you say this is the wrong sub-forum "talk about clans etc." is what it says. Anyways:

I'm the leader of a clan right? And I pick 2-3 trusted Co Leaders, suddenly they have a bad day and decide to kick everyone and I cant do anything because I am offline. The Co can literally kick my clan and there's nothing I can do; So I was thinking Co's just like Elders should have a kicking "cool down" Now you may say: Well then there's no difference! But there still is. Co can change anything about the clan description and logo, type of clan, trophies. Elder can't. Co can start war, Elder can't. Co can promote/demote.. Elder can't.

I do trust all Co's that why they are Co's but you never are 100% guaranteed.

If you aren't 100% guaranteed they shouldn't be a co leader...

The cool down idea sounds great for Elders, but the point of a coleader is them being able to do just about anything but demote n kick the leader.

You need to learn to distrust people and only trust them when you've talked to them a lot and KNOW the indicators to look for.

Co-leader is giving you the possibility to share leader position with one or more other person and therefor they need to have same power as the leader (can't kick the leader though). If you do not want to share the leadership with someone you dont have to.

What I am missing though is a title that doesn't really means you can do anything, but as a badge of loyalty. Would be nice to be able to show memebers appreciation that way.

As things stand, the clan I am in is run with one leader, two co-leaders and two elders. There is always a leader on and we can always keep up tp date and agree on things. I think it is up to you as a leader to decide what sort of power you are willing to give to what member in your clan and never give someone power unless you trust them completely.

We had a co once that was so annoying I almost quit, the leader finally kicked him, but as I was just a co I couldn't do anything. I can't even imagine why anybody co'd him.

Elders have too much power too. Wind up with 2 guys feuding and one guy kicking someone mid-war, leaving us short-handed.

Then stop promoting everyone you see. Honestly... The co leader is supposed to be near or even equal to that of the leader, hence the name...

The problem is not the power of Co-Leaders. The problem is your decision in Co-Leaders.

A Co-Leader is someone who can do the same stuff as you, to help Lead the clan when you are unable to do everything yourself.

So yea, I suggest getting rid of the Clan Drama before accusing Co-Leader status of being OP..


You need to get to a point of Trust and knowledge with someone. Just because they say "yo my names Jay I'm 28 and I'm mature" Don't mean you know them..

Just cause you have known their In-Game self for a week, Doesn't mean you know them..

Co-Leadership is something that has to be earned by people who WANT it.. The people who want it will be those members who are loyal, never break rules and start drama, and most importantly - Remind people who break rules, of the rules..

Those kinds of people won't be stupid and kick others.
