There are many ways to drop drags and is dependant on base u may do a v line, or drop 1 at a time and build up just to name a few
I would recommend a diamond shape surronding the base like <>
i would normally drop dragon first just to test for traps and usually drop on 2 sections either top /bottom or left / right. But again it depends on the base and level of your dragons.
I also drop dragons near the air defense or teslas to kill it right away and use heal spells
thanks guys for ur support and to be specific i am looking for a technique against centrally placed air defense
i have lvl 2 drags
The best way to deal with one central AD is with 3 lightning spells.
I take 5 dragons and 20 balloons. Target an air defence, rage the balloons with the dragons following up. It works well 2 star minimum. Target with 2 lightening first. It will teach you how the dragons work.
if their is a high lvl air D that is centralized you can take it out with (3) lightning spells and then drop you'r drags near as you can to the other air d's. you want to drop them close to the air d so they will kill it fast. if you lightning an air d you may think it's a good idea to drop the drags in the area because it's not their. that is not true. drop them where the others are so they take it out. when the air d's are dead the base has no chance to deffend.
you need the weigh wether using 3 spell slots to take out an air d is better then simply using 3 rage spells to amplify all you'r drags. usually in my experience it is better to use the rage spells but sometimes it is indeed better to take out an air d with lightning.
Hmmmm I usually just deploy 1 to make sure its going to my intended target, and spam all the rest behind it. Hasn't failed me yet. Imo, in general, figuring out where to deploy is more important that how you deploy.
In the past, I dont give a damn to my dragon. However, when she was upgraded to lvl 3, is a vast difference and a different ball game.
Commonly, my Royal dragon assault team will comprise 10 lvl 3 dragons, 10 archers and my two heros. Not forgetting 1 rage and 3 healing spells. In CW, with the duly support of my clanmates, it can increase to 11 with a lvl 4 dragon as my reinforcement.
To highlight, mass dragon assault seem to omit the hassle of luring defender's cc troops, as I was convinced that whatever troops of defenders will relent under the intense attack of my mass dragon advancement, which is welcoming:D
I dislike the ideas of diversifying my 10 dragons into various points when deploying. Take me as 1 dimensional, I love consolidating the point of deploying. I will identify those bases with 1-2 ADs clustered together at the outer ring, drop my 10 dragons at 1 go and cast a rage spell shortly with the intention to put the ADs to bed at the very first instance, which I have succeeded highly on many attempts. Leaving remaining of 1-2 separated ADs behind which I reckoned that their aerial defense will be much weakened then, which is a plus point to my dragon force that has equally decline then.
The basis behind my single point deployment as I presumed that my dragon's force is at their strongest onset with 10 dragons splash attacks which can comprehensively decimate anything objects on sight.
For those very broad bases, at times I will deploy BK with iron fist ability to clear the perimeter in order to keep the dragons in track and not to divert her force. Notwithstanding the BK will mostly be killed after achieving his objective.
That is my style, I do have my doom days for such tactics, but I am affirmed my ratio of success is pretty high, lol
The trick with mass dragons is where you deploy them. Placement is mostly everything with them. If you send them in the sweet spot, then you can quickly take out AD's and sweep the base.
OP, the way you want to deploy them is so they path find towards the center AD with Rage spells. The trick with Rage spells and placement is that you can either send the dragons straight towards the core or have them do a sweep of the entire base.
The key to this attack is placement and smart use of spells, you will want to take out air defenses ASAP, and those dragons would do well to be supported by some rage spells and maybe a healing spell or two
thank u guys really appreciate your help😃
For clan wars, I like 3 lights, and two rage. Then fill cc with loons, take one with light the other with loons. Main thing is to cut their path so they dont wander. If deployed in line, start ends first, or in a L on corner do three on ends first. That way you frame a path to the town hall
