Congratulations on level 90!
I must agree it has gotten much harder to level with the addition of the town! On a side note, I've been contemplating the experience increase for the buildings to compensate but the amount gained seems so minuscule for the materials required to do so! Perhaps just increasing the bed and breakfast and spa for the time being...
Congratulations!
I'm finding the exact opposite - I'm leveling up faster because of the high xp some of the orders give, especially the cinema. Candy orders from the town folk amount to sky high xp, as good as truck orders give. One gave me 1500+ yesterday for a single person, two others gave me 1500+ combined, etc. I couldn't figure out why I was leveling up so quickly until I started taking a look at the xp they were giving. I have a new appreciation for what they're requesting.
But I still won't share raw fish and lobster. :)
Well done you! How long have you been playing, just out of interest? (Sorry, just noticed your sig and that tells me. LOL)
Shealie, I never really notice what XP I'm getting in the town so thank you for that. :)
You're welcome, Madge, I had never noticed until a couple of days ago I saw the number 1500 (don't remember the last two digits) floating up and my eyes nearly bugged out of my head. It explains how I managed to hit level 75 not too long after hitting level 74, even though I don't do boat or truck orders. Yay! I do NOT have a problem serving premium items anymore!! (Except for too many fish products at one time.) :D
Congrats!!🎉🎉
I've been paying attention to the XP numbers since you posted you got 1500 from a townie. Most I have gotten is 375. I hope my townies take after yours real soon. I am level 13 in the town and 74 on the farm.
This is what I don't like most about the Town. The interface doesn't make it as easy to assess the xp and coin values for each order compared to the truck delivery noticeboard and boat orders. Also the images overlay the interior of the building making it difficult to take in easily what the order is asking for.
The truck delivery noticeboard allows you to judge the merits of all the orders at once. With the Town you can only see one order at a time which makes it difficult to compare and prioritise the best deals. As a result I couldn't say whether I have been getting good value for the orders or not. If I can meet the order I generally fulfil it and have not turned many away. However, I do get a sense that I am levelling up faster.
I am Leveling up much faster than I did before the Town . I haven't tracked the XPs from the Town compared to the farm, but I do track my Leveling up dates, and it is about 7 days quicker...a big jump!
I hope my post comes across with how I meant it, I am not trying to be weird here but would love to know what people's incentive is if they want to level up past level 70. I get the lot of diamonds on level 100. Before the town I was going to stop.or severely slow down my playing as I do love the game at level 70 as that is the last new item and there was no incentive to try and level up after that.
I think I am just 2 levels away in town  Where you can upgrade as I am immediately upgrading all buildings in town upon levelling up but you are restricted ( which is good) in how many times you can level up a building in a level.
So do you just slow down and not try or think about levelling up? And if not what is it that drives people to level up, just the number?
I'm cutting back on everything apart from town as I don't want to level up as my next level is my last new thing and it was all the new things I could make makes it fun for me and keeping thinking about my next new item, kept me playing so,much. But I suppose I have been playing a LOT, as I only started 4 months ago. I,will keep playing just not as much and won't be trying to level up.
With the addition of the Town, no longer can I maintain 15-30 of virtually every item. I'm lucky if I have 1-3 of a thing thanks to the onslaught of BOAT TRUCK and TOWN orders, just can't keep up!!!!
aaarrgghhhhhhh!!!!! Lol
