Your TH8 Push to Masters

I would like to know what various strategies you guys used to head to Masters League as a TH8 and your experiences there. And also, how long did it take to get there?

It took me around a week. I barched up to Crystal 1 and used GoWiPe or mass drag for the next 500'trophies .

ive made it to masters as a TH8, and i sniped til 2230, used hogs to 2400, and used dragons and minions to 2600

here are my army comps (200 housing space) and spells (x3)

army: 100 barbs and 100 archers
spells: x3 lightning
used for: sniping/ 50%
How i used it:make a ring of barbs around the base, and do the same with archers. (barbs as meat shield.) use light spells on hero altars or builder huts to get 50%




Army: 30 hogs, 8 wizards, 9 barbs and archers
Spells: x3 heal
used for: 3 stars on TH8s and some TH9s
how i used it: used barbs and archers and wiz to lure and take out heros/cc
and then placed hogs to destroy all the defenses, and healed hogs when they are by wiz towers.


Army: 8 dragons 10 minions
Spells: x3 rage
used for: sniping(and if your lucky, two stars)
how i used it: placed a minion infront of the free TH, then 1 drag, and then after TH was destroyed, Deployed all dragons if i knew a 2 star was possible. i'd drop a rage where ever the most drags were.


it took me about 8 days to hit M3 from C3.
as you get near 2500, searching can take awhile to find a base you can attack


Troop levels:
Archer: Level 5
Barb: Level 5
Wizard: Level 5
Hogs: level 4
Dragon: :Level 3
Minion: Level 2

Spells:
Lightning: Level 4
Heal: level 4
Rage: Level 3


a few rules that i made for myself:
Never attack a TH10 with infernos, unless they're dead
Never attack a base that you think you cant beat.
Always make sure you have spells, CC troops and BK.


also, a few gems to boost barracks and spell factory and BK's altar help alot.

I was able to barch until around 2400 trophies and then relied on hogs with an occasional town hall snipe. I would suggest having an anti hog base once you get to crystal 1-2.

wow, nice job guys! btw how abundant are hogs in Crystal 1 or 2

Did masters as a townhall 8 back in January.
barch all the way, just make sure you have enough gold for hitting next think I burnt around 1.5mill in total just in gold pressing next from 2400-2600.

also did it in three days from 1400 to 2600 started on Thursday night finished Sunday afternoon.
You will find the odd townhall 7 bases smash them for 31 trophies, other than that shoot for 50% on bases surrounded with buildings and use your barb king to get the last one or two % if needed.

also if you do come across a townhall outside just be mindful the owner probably has a bunch off teslas around.
bring a lighting spell, two rage spells with you zap the builder huts if you need one or two %.

BAM all the way up. Was easy until Crystal 2, but the last 150 points were really hard to find.

how expensive were lvl 4 hogs

i'm trying to do it...

right now, i got to 2221 (probably lost some right now since i expose my th)

i'm pratically snipping (90%) since it just go faster... when i found 50% th8 or premmie th9 i barch them...

i bring 8wb... then fill two barrack of barbs, two of archers... and i often do 15mini on each dark barracks

and i'm cooking ballonion (22balloons, 45mini) when going to sleep or at work... trying to get a nice revenge for two star and more for around 30-40cups

I barched to Master as a th8. I did it over a weekend however i was on basically 12 hours a day

I barched uptil crystal two. then hogs till masters
when my army and spells were cooking I would look for th snipes till then.
Never attack a th 10 with infernos unless they're dead
I did not even attack th 9's because my hogs were lvl 1
because of the new update you can't lure heroes so do be careful of that. drop a heal when you reach their radius.
its best to upgrade heroes and hogs before pushing.
