Hi,
Im TH9 planning on going to TH10.. According to the wiki I, as TH9 have a penalty of 10% if i attack a TH8 and bonus 10% if i attack TH10?
As TH10 i would get 10% penalty for TH9 and 50% penalty for TH8?
Is this right? if its not, please explain!
Sadly, you are correct.
I believe they removed the bonus for attacking a TH above you, as most of the time that only helped zappers anyways

That is true, similar to how you can't really raid TH7s for much as a TH9
Im 1700 Trophies TH9 and 8/10 times i find a th8 when im searching for opponents... will that change when im th10 ? since i get lot of penalty if i raid TH8..

The maximum available loot for the base you found is reduced by 10%.
Say, you have a town hall 8 and found a town hall 8 target which hold 300 k gold. If you have a town hall 9 you will see the same town hall 8 target hold 270 k gold.
Supercell really should warn people about upgrading your town hall too early.

if you attack a TH8, then you will suffer 40% decreased loot
if you attack a TH9, then you just suffer 10% which is unnoticeable. As TH10, you get more spells and camps space, so it's a fair trade-off for the 10%
if you attack a TH10, then there is no difference of loot. It's better to be a TH10.
