I like the idea of more titles. It would be nice to have more options for the titles though. Or for the leader to beable to choose what each title can do or not do.
I also like/love the idea of making our own titles. So like if i wanted to change it from leader to "the boss" and sidekick, or minion or lil butthead. Lol stuff like that. As long as people didn't get really crazy with them.
I really support this idea. I believe it is necessary for many Clans. I currently co-lead a small clan of about 30 players. If you give Elder to folks that have been loyal, and co-leader to those that show leadership potential, you end up alienating those who go above and beyond, but might not necessarily need to have a leadership related title.
As it stands now, Elders that do great want to be co-leaders. If you want to retain these good players, they need to be given a title that sets them apart. Either a custom title or some other form of canned title that does not necessarily play into the leadership chain.
There are a multitude of ways to address this, many are illustrated in responses to this thread. I won't advocate for a specific implementation, but do believe that some additional rank or titles should be made available.
