So this guys basically used a few archers to take out my outside TH and gave me a free 12 h shield. He is such a nice person and didn't even try to lightening my DE nor take out the exposed collectors. Normally, I appreciate these snipers.
But the problem is, he is LOADED with DE, and I think I can take all of it if I want to.
How could I revenge someone who did me a favor? What would you do instead?
Also, looks like he is new to TH7 and is very close to getting his BK.
If it were me, I'd be a jerk and snatch it :). Unless you are finding better DE loot in your trophy range.Quote:

That's why i never ever ever snipe a TH8 with 50% skull walls or any TH9/10 with at least 20% lego walls. They are active farmers. The THs that i would snipe are premmie THs and pink walls.

When farming, I always think, do I want to be on this guy's revenge list?
Now, I don't like snipers. I do like having on my revenge list. It is half the reason I put my townhall, even when pushing. I want to steamroll the weak putz who sniped me. I revenged a guy for zero cups today....he had full storages.
Sorry.....don't snipe if you can't pay the price.

Since you are a higher town hall than him/her, you will get the loot penalty. Since he/she does not have a BK yet, they probably have a level 1 storage. That means you can steal only 10-14% of 10k with a loot penalty multiplier. Just let the guy keep the maybe 300 you can steal from him that he probably struggled to get.
What sucks is when it happens to you. Nothing like TH sniping someone, then getting 3 starred and 20 trophies taken away. I love getting revenge on TH9/10 bases because they cant retaliate..lol
Its part of the game, take it if you can.
I asked about this a while back too. Personally, if they sniped me leaving my resources alone, I generally "ignore" them on the revenge list unless they were trophy pushing (in which I'll drop a troop for them if I catch them without a shield) or shield them back if they have their TH outside and their storages are full. I'll generally use these "revenges" to stay in range. There's enough loot out there to pass it on.

Not me --- I put the TH out for the shield which in turn protects my storages so I'm not gonna penalize the guy for giving it to me. I do snipe his TH if it's out.
BTW, I'd bet that most of those that say yes to this question complain the loudest about having their DE zapped.:)
Get it before he spends it. People will revenge you, you can revenge others.
yeah, there are those who measly strike back at the free shield givers. So what. I always snipe if I get the chance, also when farming...the loot bonus is worth it up from C3. If I get a few in a row (happens) I either stay on long or ride out my shield, just to get off the top spot of their revenge list.
I will not revenge a free shield giver, return the curtesey though. It's something else if they go for more or even blitz my dex, then I feel entitled to revenge full throttle and that's fun !

I'd feel like a dirt bag if i did so I dont. I think its jacked for someone to basically ask for a sheild than revenge who helped them protect their storages. I think its a classless move.

I supposed those who go on revenge is a ppl who lack on skill to finding many good loot out there, and averagely their resource save on storage didn't worth for raid, the statistic while searching base you want to loot prove well yo hit "next" and skip many poor base who lack on resource before find some of rich base.
I'll never do this kind of revenge, every night sleeping with my cap resource i'm very thankful to ppl who snipe my TH before the strong one drop in

No. The only revenge I'd do is to snipe his town hall to give him shield as well. So we both can hide from greedy farmers out there.
Also, I think revenge on snipers bring bad luck to me. Every time I did that a level 130s town hall 10 appeared and leveled my base.
Statistically speaking, 2/3 of the players WILL revenge you for giving them free shield. That's an interesting find! Guess from now on I will have to think twice before I take out that TH :)Quote:

If someone takes my town hall, I'll defiantly attack him if his loot is good, this game is about taking your chances.
I really hope you guys get your De storages lightened like crazy lol. People like many of you are the reasons there's less snipers than there could be and the reason were more likely to get looted by a bigger TH since many people have to skip from fear of revenge
If he got loot, and an easy base to raid with loonion, instant revenge.
If someone has the loot, even if they sniped my hall - yep I'm going after it.
If I don't, someone else will.
If they have average loot and sniped me I'll return the favour. But only a fool would turn a blind eye to amazing loot due to moral standards!
This juust happened to me. I am TH7, looking for DE for a barb king.... got revenged from a more maxed TH7 that I sniped.... took 462 off me... probably nothing to you guys but a ton for me.
Oh yeah and right after that a premmie TH8 got me too. I will have my revenge.
I have made most of my dark E as a Th7 from revenge raids 1k at a crack some times.
Play with honor. If you put your th out there to be snipe, it is understood you are ASKING for a free shield. Don't be a ♥♥♥♥ and ruin the social contract for everyone else who would like a free shield. On another note, whenever I see a ♥♥♥♥ trapped th, I am more motivated to level the town just to make a point.
Tough question. In the past I would have said I don't but I've been revenged after sniping th numerous times so I feel much less guilty about doing it now. This, trapped th and zapping DE shows there is no such thing as a "farmer's code" so my only rule is to maximize my income.
Not that I do it a lot as I generally don't even check their base and I'd rather revenge someone who grabbed my DE but if my revenge list gets smaller I sometimes check snipers' bases and will attack them if it's juicy enough.
Moreover, I don't snipe anymore -lesson learned- as I'd rather not open myself to a revenge for a few trophies which I don't really care about and risk losing hard earned loot.
I will snipe on revenge sometimes if the base has nothing else to offer though, to grab a few trophies and maintain my farming range.
I guess I joined the dark side. :p
I never look at people who snipe me and leave the rest alone. But occasionally i'll take a peek and if they have something I want I will take it. During a trophy push I will definitely check the list and revenge when I can.

Farmers Code I cannot and will not attack someone who did me a favor and gave me a free shield. Now if they go one step further and make an attempt at my storages then ill cook whatever combo I need to finish them off!
dont revenge the guy. only revenge those who took your th and tried to get your storages.its just wrong to revenge someone who saved you from a th 10 with maxed minions and balloons,appreciate th snipers

Attack them if they have a ton of resources, regardless if you got a free shield.
if they tried to grab resources or zapped then they are in trouble, zapper that zapped me yesterday got revenged had 370k Gold, 320k elixir, and 2460DE I'm a farmer if you have gold it's mine regardless if you gave me a free shield or not don't care, resources is what I care about.

Why is it so cold hearted? They attacked your TH for SOMETHING! They didn't just go, "Oh look an unprotected TH, let me just help you out there mate and give you a 12 hr shield". You never attack someone for no reason. They got cups, you get the opportunity for revenge. Also people get shmacked all the time! Extremely common is TH9 beating up us little TH8's :(. Thats the way the game works. Basically the easiest way to get resources is to steal them. If they are giving you an opportunity to do so, then take it!Quote:

Doing a revenge attack is like doing a clanwars attack you get to plan it, execute it and profit from it when it works out.
I don't think it's cold hearted either if you snipe this is the risk that you take you got your 4-6 trophies well I will get 30 back and all your loot because you decided to snipe up to 2000 premature so this is the price that you pay if you attack me.
Loot and DE is easy to find
For Th snipers I do the ff.:
1. Check his/her village ONCE, if he/she have the goods i'll revenge em.
2. If they don't then end of story, I wont bother anymore
For Th snipers (who also used lightning spells on my DE storage)
1. Check his/her village
2.a. If he/she have the goods then i'll plan a 3 star attack(if possible).
2.b. If he/she doesn't have much (or has shield on), i'll check them again the next day. Basically I'll stalk em till I get the revenge for my stolen DE. :rolleyes:
