1 Day til TH8. Need help with an efficient farming strategy

If you're skipping too many bases then you might not be in the optimal trophy range. For me it's silver 1. With my setup it is possible to do collector raids so i suppose you don't have to skip as much as the barchers and bammers.

Remember :

1. Giants for meat shields
2. Goblins for resources
3. Archers for freebies and DPS
4. WBs for walls
5. Heal for giants (if it's a really tough base) and goblin on compartment raids

Are you still relying on TH6 and collector raids? I found that raiding as TH7 in 1500 trophy range is most efficient. Why? Cuz plenty of rich TH7/8/9 are farming here! Try these army composition for storage raids (don't go for less than 150k each):

8 giants/8 wb/30 gob/40 barb/70 archer

20 min training time only. Do it properly its at least 450k/450k per hour

This is for when you get a level 5 BK (shouldn't really take too long):

• Level 5 BK
• 200 Barbs
• 2 Healing Spells
• 1 Rage spell

That's it. Raid those collectors and if you ever see a storage that is worth taking, drop the BK and use his power. He will walk straight through to the storages with your barbs. Use healing spells near wizard towers if needed.

Hell, even without a BK I would say this is the best method to farm. Get level 5 barbs quickly. They can take quite a beating compared to archers and deal more damage. Plus, they have the shortest training time, so you can churn them out like nothing. I'm raiding about 4m gold a day at 1500 trophies using this method, without boosts.

Yep, this is the best farming strategy for th8. Once you get level 5 barbs and archers anyway. Until you get those upgrades it's pretty tough going. Your best target will be th7's and if they don't have their mortars maxed you can BARCH your way into the core of a base using 1 or 2 heal spells. Attacking a th8 requires a different strategy because they tend to split their storages but if they are semi-exposed you can get all 3 with BARCH and wb. Th9 or 10 are tricky but some are viable targets for BARCH. Heal spells are best, I would only use a rage spell if de farming.

I've straight BARCH'ed with NO WBs for quite awhile...

Only hit bases offering 200k+ gold. Usually regardless of location (unless very high level TH9 or TH10), if in storages I can usually pick up 2 with a strong placement (double fingers) on the side with 2 of the closest storages (usually using 1 maxed rage spell as needed, sometimes two if there is an large amount of loot)

I casual farm with boosted barracks, and so can thus go back-to-back every attack with BARCH.

Trophy range is anywhere from Gold 3 to Crystal 2, depending on where the loot is better. Sweet spot tends to be around Gold 1-2, but I move up and down regularly.

Running 2 boosts per day on my days off (so total of 4 hours raiding) I can make anywhere from 8-20 mil gold/day depending on how the hunt goes (some days you find an abandoned within 3 nexts every time, some days it takes 15-20 minutes to find full-strength offers) this makes average gold/hr at 2-5 mil/hr.

I run 1 boost on weekdays and 2 boosts on weekends. Over 3 weeks I farmed about 70 L7 walls and 130 L8 walls. I took my BK from around 4 to 9. Other 4 builders were on constant upgrades.

tl;dr : Pure BARCH. There is a reason everyone recommends it over anything else.

FYI: For spells I have 3 maxed rage spells (for when I need to get into storages) CC is whatever clannies feel like donating to me, its mostly just for backup if something goes south.

My lab is still upgrading to level 6 so no level 5 archers or barbs for over a week. think i can use this strategy with level 4 troops?

Sure you can, I farmed most of my skulls before my barbs and archers were finished in lab

Thanks, I was way more active then, I did gobs first for sub, then barch. I went th9 early after walls maxxed
