how can you 3 star an anti-hog th9 base?

hey, im what ud call a "capable" hogger, and so I know a solid anti-hog base when I see one(in clan wars btw), and I keep my bacon away. I usually end up to starring them with some other method like giant/wizard/heal spells.

I was wondering though, is there any methods that can 3 star anti-hog bases? im referring to anti-hog bases in general, usually with 3 layers, the core, the storage layer, the defenses layer. such as the most common anti hog base that I couldn't get a screenie of:mad:. so instead ill refer u to this 1 http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...le-Clan-Castle.

Are you TH 9 or 10? TH 10 would be much 'easier' I would think.

It'll be hard to get 3 unless you're very good with fairly high heroes, but the basic strategy is this: send in some hogs to take out a line or a line and a half of defenses (enough that you can drop hogs and they'll go for the center), send a few hogs into the middle to lure the cc, use your cleanup troops to take out the cc and send the rest of your hogs in the middle, while your other troops get the town hall and the 50%.

none of the bases in this video are antihog.

You can easily three-star TH9 Anti-Hog bases with hogs :rolleyes:

Aside from killing the heroes and castle troops (which should be done anyway regardless of army you have), I have experienced at least 2 methods used by hoggers to wreck my anti-hog TH 9 base (I used Ringus).

1. First method is to draw your hog in line just like you do with balloonion attack in one side. These hogs with eventually split into 2 groups going to corners and trigger giant bombs/traps. After this is done, sent another wave of same number of hogs which will get into the base's core. A TH 9 did this to my base and get 86% and 2 stars. For a TH 10, I'm sure 3 star can be done.

2. Second method required more skills. You send a pack of 5 hogs against 2-3 defenses in the outer layer. Then do this again in a corner defenses (hopefully also triggering bombs/traps). Don't bother healing your hogs this time, you'll use heal spell later. After these 2 steps, you will split the base into 3 broken-rings. Now, swarm your hog from the broken-ring which will get you closest to the core and use heal spells. Another TH 9 did this to me and got 3 stars.

It's possible at TH9, just substract 5 wizards or 2 wizards 1 witch and 1 freeze.
