That extra twenty spaces is awesome at TH9. So For CW I usually build
30 hogs
1 Pekka (just cause their awesome)
5 Barbarians
10 Wizards
Three questions:
1) Are wizards even the most effective supporting troops? Archers, Barbs, Valks, Minions? Other?
2) Given that army what do you hog users ask for the CC if the other clan's bases have a lot of funneling? I have twenty-five spaces currently. Air?
3) For spells, three heals and one lightning right?
My camp:
20 Arch
20 Barbs
36 Hogs
1. Wizards are in my opinion the best to use in the cc when you use hog strategy.
2. I always use Wizards, sometimes i ask for high lvl minions.
3. 3 Heal and 1 Lightning is what i use.
Remember to always lure out the cc and heroes before deploying your hogs.
Lure the cc, lure the heroes. get them in a corner, deploy barbs and arch ( spread them out in case of wiz in cc ). then deploy your cc and if needed drop your heroes ( if u have ).
Then you should deploy the hogs in two separate lines. And when their HP goes down to half then drop healing spell.

So wizards in the CC. I notice other than the hogs you only have barbs and archers. Are you doing that to cut costs?
When you have large numbers of hogs they will also be your cleanup troops so you won't need any :) A few barbs and a CC with wizards will be enough for his CC and heroes with your archer queen behind them to back them up. The rest of archers you will have left are for the huts in the corners.
Wizards are a good support troop because they have the highest damage per housing space.
