Ability to vote for clan wars

Whenever we want to start a clan battle, we like to know if everyone is ready for a war. The problem is that not everyone is online to let us know if they're ready because they could be upgrading their elixir collectors, or defenses, which makes the clan vulnerable. So I think the leaders and co-leaders should be able to write a message (in order to write what time we want war to start) that has the ability to let it's members give a 'yes' or 'no' vote (with possibly an option of letting the members write a reason why they voted 'no'). The message itself won't decide whether or not the clan war starts, it's only there to keep the members in check as well as influence the decision of the war.

In how ways does upgrading your elixir collectors makes your clan vulnerable?

Well it's mostly for the newer players, but when your upgrading all collectors, you are limited to how many troops you can send if you didn't have enough elixir to begin with, rendering those members useless, which could affect a potential win. Everything counts.

You could just win elixir raiding, no need for collectors even at low level.

Well we're just going back and forth on a minor detail, what about the idea overall? Any feedback on that?

Good idea

I think that this is a really good idea. From what your saying, I get the impression of having certain members of your clan be able to create in game polls and I think that this would be a great addition to the game. Though if it were included I think it would be better if not only could there be yes or no polls about whether or not a clan war should be started, but you should be able to post polls like which should I upgrade, and then have the answers include what your debating about uprgrading, for example elixir collector or gold mine. This addition to the game would add a new dynamic that would allow players to decide which upgrade would be most beneficial to the player in question. Adding this feature would allow younger and newer players to learn the game more easily by knowing which upgrades are more valued than others allowing a faster advancement through the game. So overall this would be an excellent addition to the game.

Couple of issues at play here...
1) If upgrading elixir collectors makes you useless during a clan war, then you are useless during clan wars. As in, you obviously do not know how to attack.
2) upgrading defenses has nothing to do with clan wars. Nothing. All defenses are live on your war base. My first inferno was just purchased, still had 7 days to build on my home base, and was live on my war base. Nothing goes inactive on your war base - even upgrading heroes will at least defend.
3) In game polls are a horribly stupid idea. Nobody wants to log in to chat, and see 43 polls asking "Should I go with minions lvl 2 or BK lvl 2?". If you don't know what to upgrade, you're noob, and it doesn't matter. Push buttons, you're not gonna be Jorge Yao anytime soon. If you want advice, ask. We don't need polls.
4) Having the entire clan vote is stupid. How long are we going to sit around and wait? Our clan, like MANY OTHERS, have preset war days. For example, every Friday, at noon Central, a war starts. We all know this. Easy. If you aren't there, it's your fault, goodbye.
5) I don't have another point, I'm just OCD, and prefer odd numbers.

Thanks for supporting the idea, I'd also like that too but in my opinion I think the clan war poll is priority, since that would avoid possible spam, but I don't think they'd abuse it either, they could probably add a timer like they do with normal clan messages. Thanks for the feedback, hopefully this will be added to the game soon!

Well polls can be separated into two types "clan polls" and "Chat polls" (leaders could disabled individual members' polls if they Concider it spam) and they could just give leaders the option to take each type of polls off... Besides not all clans work that way, our members are not some random bunches of people, we communicate heavily with each other, we like to work things out and we'd like to see this in the game so we don't skip over anyone. This is beneficial to active clans in my opinion.
