I hope the "fan" pack has nice icons for all the troops that look like what I've used for my site ;). I finally got a decent layout and those icons really tie the room together!

Hi SuperSteve, thank you for your reply. As I said earlier I was going to create something different than Wikia which I like and respect, but still think there is a place on the web for one more site with a slightly different approach.
Ok, I am not going to charge anything for any service but yes, I was going to put Google ads (same system as on Wikia) to help pay the costs of hosting. There are many websites which teach how to use for example Photoshop and as far as I know, Adobe has no problem with using video screencasts, screenshots and tools' icons in such websites, but some companies have very different stance on the same subject and explicitly forbid using any of their stuff anywhere. So I wanted to make it clear if it is all right with Supercell to use screenshots form CoC on such personal "blog+tutorials+tips of the day+clan message board etc" website or should I better use my own symbols and diagrams (which would look nothing like real CoC, but still would convey the message how to use a wallbreaker against a wall section)? I hope you could help me straighten this out before I start.Quote:
As far as legal permission, there's no problem in using the stuff you can find on our website for now. As long as you are not charging for a service or serving ads then we are okay with you running a fan site for Clash.
Ok, looking forward for this, thanks Steve.Quote:
In the near to mid-term we will have a Fan/Clan site kit available for those who want to create these sites. At that point we will request that all fan sites use the provided official art.

Alright. It's official: Feel free to serve ads on there!
Good luck and let us know once it's done!
