CoC related website - legal questions

Hi, I'm thinking about creating a website with CoC tips, tricks, strategies etc. Is it legal to register a domain with clash of clans in it (it would be something like clash-of-clans-tips.com but in Spanish) and is it all right to use screenshots and artwork from the game (for example walls set-ups using real walls from CoC) just for the purpose of explaining some techniques?

In the Supercell page they have some downloadable logos and banners, so I assume it would be no problem to use them, also YouTube is full of CoC recordings which after all use the game's artwork. But I would like to make it clear what is legal and what not in terms of legal use of the name and screenshots before proceeding any further with the idea.

You do know there is a great website already up and running... google "clash of clans wiki"...

The Clash of Clans wiki was actually working on a Spanish version. I don't know if they finsihed it or not, but I am sure they would appreciate any help. :)

I know clash-of-clans-wiki and I like it but I'm trying to do something different.

And the emphasis will be totally on Spanish - 90% members of my clan can't understand technical English.

So, how about the legality of using the name and the screenshots? Is the English wiki related to Supercell in any way? Did they have to ask for permission?

I'd suggest sending a Private Message (PM) to Dahimi... I believe he manages that wiki page, or is familiar with the people who runs it.

Perhaps, do it in collaboration with Dahimi? Or, at the least, I'm sure he can guide you to the legal issues, if any.

I doubt there will be many legal issues. But try to PM a mod as they might know about it or who to contact.

Ok, thank you Dualsabers, I guess there shouldn't be many problems because the page will surely promote the game and increase its popularity. But before posting here, I searched this forum and found one guy saying his CoC related app was rejected by AppStore because of using restricted imagery from the game. SC answered there would be some FanKit realesed but I couldn't find any more information.
