This is a brilliant solution, although it would only help me in that I get more free loot :D. The best advantage of this solution is that it will stop people from complaining that surviving troops don't come back (or at least minimize it). Support! +1

Interesting idea, I do kinda like it. What happens with surviving CC troops?

The idea massively favours dark Elix troops. For instance using minions for cleanup, mass hogs, golems, witches that can survive to the later part of battle. Not so much suicidal hounds of course... I'm not sure how that affects the balance of the game, but it would encourage using those high value troops.

The other bonus from this is the penalty of wiping a low TH out of its league get reduced, and makes those low value raids viable... . Anyway, gtg can't ramble on more.

U wouldn't get refunded on cc troops, u ddnt spend elixer on them, possibly give elixer back to the donater, it would encourage donating. Especially since ppl have expensive request during wars.

Hmm, not really. U would be saving more elixer if the troops had less cost. If they cut the cost of troops by 50%, u will comstantly save a full 50% of what u wouldve origanlly spent, if it's refunded 50%, you'll prolly end up with 14-8% I think it was
