Level 5 CC isn't a good thing

We've seen in the sneak peaks that we'll be getting a new troop that takes up 30 housing spaces so I've seen a few posts saying that we'll be getting a new CC that can hold 30 spaces in other words the Golem which is the new troop.

Now having 30 troops in CC will be awesome but think outside the box here. What if you're attacking a base that has 30 troops in CC. It'll be too hard to get all the loot if CC is in the centre of the base. You'll obviously need a lightning spell but farmers can't wait 1 hour to create a lightning spell and then attack.

Have you not noticed the entire update is to get rid of farming?

I guess we'll have to think outside the box every time we attack someone, especially a TH9.

Well the update seems to be about changing, not removing IMO, farming at TH7-9.

Doesn't SC realise that most players play to farm. That's like an update to get rid of these people. Many farmers will quit.

More than half of the players I attack when I farm don't even have troops in their clan castle, and a lot more don't have their clan castle centered making it easy to draw them out. I really don't think it would have that much of an effect on a lot of people's farming.

Cup focused player pay money

farmers don't pay money


SuperCell wants to make farmers in to cuppers, so they bring in more money, simple really

Farming will still be a thing, it's just going to take more commitment. You're going to have to completely disregard the cup advantages for a little bit or you're going to get sucked right in.

I'm a farmer and if farming is removed then I will still play. I just like kicking butt.

Well now you can attack with 30 CC troops, it's balanced out.

If farming quits I can see 30-40% of ppl quit this game cuz we won't be spending 1000's of $$ just to compete for cups
then there goes supercell's game of the year down the drain.

Bad idea for supercell IMO

I'm a farmer and I've bough around £20 worth of gems before. Also my most of my clan mates are farmers and a few of them have 5 builders so they've also donated.

Some farmers also buy gems. It's just that trophy hunters buy even more

If you're like me and attack every 20 mins you can't expect me to request troops every 20 mins. Especially when you play for long hours.

Five extra troops are not going to change the game for me. They are nullified by wizards, dragons, lightning spells, five extra cc troops to attack with, and, of course, the attackers ability to draw them out.

There has been no mention from supercell that they are increasing the size of the cc. It's rather premature to complain about it.

Yeah they are making an assumption. Supercell never said they were increasing the cc size.

How the heck are 5 extra troops in CC gonna be gamechanging? lol.... <_<

Also no matter how much HP the Golem has, it won't survive a massive rush from 50 archers all attacking it at once.

Or maybe the golem is not meant to be placed in CC so theyll leave CC as it is and keep that fat tank as 30 housing space so there's no way you can put him there.

Can someone show me where the sneak peeks for the Golum are?

NOPE!! this update would really benefit me though...more shields to secure my resources and I can still make up for my trophies even though my TH is outside....

Completely agree with you. But at the same time I'd love to have 5 more spaces. I get requests filled in my clan in under a few minutes. So using those troops would help me both on defense and attacks. Not worried either way.

Now that I think about it. It probably would make much of a difference.

True but every time you attack someone they always have CC troops. If you attack every 20mins and use your CC troops then you can't really request every 20mins can you especially if you play for long hours.

I know but you can't expect a farmer to use the lightning spell every 20 mins can you especially when it takes 1 hour to create

30 - 25 - 100, trophies have more value, bonuses, incentives etc... will never stop farmers :D, farming for life... I am rrriiiccchhhhh
