Hey guys, I was thinking about maybe gemming ONLY the resources for my Barb king and maybe archer queen when I get th9
So my King is level 5
I was thinking of using gems to get the DE
How many gems would it take to buy only the DE needed for levels 5-40?
Remember, not buying time, only DE
PS I will most likely not do this.. just a thought

Umm maybe the coc wikia has answers but otherwise I have no idea. Also heroes only go up to level 30 at th9

It will vary greatly based on how much you buy at a time. The more resources you buy, the less gems it costs per resources. So if you buy 80k at a time, it will be different than if you bought 20k at a time (pretty sure this is factual, but maybe I'm missing something).Quote:

From there, add up all of the Dark Elixir for the levels you want to gem. After that, empty your Dark Elixir storage and see how many gems it takes to fill it. To max your king, it will take around 60,000 gems. Taking the king from 0-40 costs 2, 352, 500 DE, which you can get for 66, 373 gems but since you have done the first 5 levels, I am guessing it will *only* cost you around 60,000 gems. If you are also looking to gem build time (which is 218 days), you can do so for 30, 715 gems.That is a grand total of 699.93 USD for the barb king! If you are not gemming build time, it will cost you around 431 USD.
To max your Archer Queen, it will take a total of 3, 340, 000 DE, which can be purchased through 94, 739 gems. That's taking the queen from level 0-40. If you are also looking to gem build time (which is 218 days), you can do so for 30, 715 gems.That is a grand total of 899.91 USD for the Archer Queen!
If you are not gemming build time, it will cost you around 680 USD.

It is MUCH more expensive to gem resources than it is to gem time. I would highly recommend going to mid Crystal league and farm for the dark elixir while boosting the barracks. This will be much cheaper to be honest and once you get enough DE to upgrade your hero, you can gem the build time. This is just a recommendation due to the fact that resources are so much more expensive gem-wise as compared to time related gemming.
