I just went down as a TH8. It was decent but definitely not as good as farming in higher leagues. I think, however, that if you were a TH7 it would be worth it. The main bases that you farm in Sub-200 are TH6 and so as a TH8 I had a 50% loot reduction whereas a TH7 would only have a 10% loot reduction. The reason I didn't like Sub-200 was because it took about an hour to drop down (I was at 1800 before) and then when I got there I would have to search usually for 2-3 minutes for a base to attack which is quite inefficient for Sub-200 since you are trying to get as many raids in as quickly as possible. The loot was only decent because of the loot penalty and many of the bases were not the typical TH6 with level 1 walls and crappy defenses. There were many TH7/8/9/10 with strong bases that I assume were also Sub-200 farming.
