First Clan, global isn't working out
Alright guys, I'm 20 years old and have been playing Clash of Clans for some time now. I'm currently Level 66 and have been in several awesome clans where I donated 3,000 troops a season, attended clan wars and met some really cool people. My fiancé and I thought it would be fun to start our own clan with a funny catchy name "BetaTestedUrMom", the only name of its kind thinking it would bring in members, but like others have said we were FLOODED with members who were young, immature, and non-loyal who pushed us to change the clan to "invite only" and kick everyone out. This Leadership thing was more difficult than I had anticipated, thus leading me here.
If you have taken the time to read this far, I'm trying to find members in their 20's and 30's to join and possibly even help keep the clan running. I'm a VERY active player, as is my fiancé. I have a large amount of faith in this clan it just needs a push start with some down to earth mature members who are willing to wait it out with me and stir away all of the bad eggs.
Any advice or tips are very much appreciated. CLASH ON! :)
Honesty Is The Best Policy
I would try and flip this around and make you join us, but I won't do that.
Perseverance is key when push comes to shove. I would suggest changing the Clan name for a start. If you want mature people, setting an example by having a mature Clan name is a start. Something worth-while, expressive, yet mature and knowledgeable, but most of all, original. Originality is something not too far from your department.
Also, recruiting on the Forums and having an Adult Only Recruitment Thread would attract adults. Lastly, posting something like 18+ in the description won't harm anyone, yet contains enough exclusivity for a mature audience.
Thanks,
Matthew
P.S.
If it doesn't work out, PM me ;)
