Just do what you feel like doing... if you can farm in crystal league (ex. max balloon), you are ready (even with low level defense), if not even with max th9 defenses you can't survive in TH10.
Funny to see all those TH9 players comments, how would they know if they have never been through this.
I wouldnt say youd look real premie given most th10s are not as far along actually but I dont see why you need infernos so badly. Your heroes are low level so its not like your saving 150k De which takes a lot of time and leaves you vulnerable the whole time so you can knock a hero upgrade our in a couple days at those levels and gold shouldn't be a problem
Your base should be able to keep attackers away till a couple mil for sure so a 2 hour session can finish any upgrade except for maybe those xbows.
In the mean time I'd focus on your xbows and wizards. Get some of them going than keep knock out the Lego's
Ultimately if you go to th10 your gold farming will be handicaped which will make a difference. Also your De farming will slow down a bit as well unless you farm in crystal with a strong army which is slower than Dr farming gold 1 with quick builds and hitting some th8s and 9s.
Different leagues need different layouts, along with different defenses
Help with different leagues (obviously) my point is you are in a gold league, you should not need help of infero towers until MAYBE masters. Try a different layout, I use the baconator and have had crazy good results
Walls are good, but your AD and AT are all not maxed still got some cannons to the xbows and wiz towers also keep grindin'. Good Luck!
I personally would wait, I am in a similar spot. Still trying to slooowly grind out my walls and finish my archer towers.
However, I never have any issues with hogs. Take a loot at my "offering" base in my profile ... It is a beast.

First, upgrade those wizard towers. Those towers, combined with an anti-hog design and an unlurable CC will scare off all but the most hard-headed of hoggers. Max those air defenses and you are a harder target for balloonion as well. After those 2 are done, if you still want to make the jump to th10, go for it. Be prepared for much less loot and some ridiculously expensive upgrades though...I jumped a little early myself, and miss those huge loot scores in gold league!
you wouldn't be a premmie but i think maxing th9 defenses would benefit you greatly in the long run. Someone earlier said to use an anti hog, i agree. You can find one on the forums or even just search it in google images.
