Hey guys i was thinking of rushing a bit to th10. I have never rushed th before but hogs are getting annoying. I was talking to bigspence from inthedark in global and he said i should have went ages ago. I dont have maxed defences but i can get them in about a month because i am of school. I have been farming lvl 9 walls and they are soo painful! I just want to go to th10 for infernos and extra xbow and other new stuff. Here's a pic of my basehttp://i58.tinypic.com/2qx5b0m.jpg
Your still too premmie imo. archer towers, cannons, teslas etc, not one is maxed. Take a month, then just wait it out, what is a month really?
Nah you still have a long way to go. Max all your defenses and get atleast 50% L9 walls
Why not just try a decent anti-hog base, lol?
WDM, Ringus, Prime, etc. Hogs never really bother me....neither does much of anything else.
And the max I can lose from storages is 350/350/2500, nothing I can't back in a few raids. I think the most I have lost recently is 150k gold.....chicken feed.
And why spend all that time farming Legos when your defenses need work?
I know some people focus on walls over defenses, but there is plenty of time to get the walls done as you work on heroes.
I will not be hitting th10 for a long time. Yes, having a pair of infernal towers would be boss. But I can wait.....Clash is a marathon, not a sprint, not unless you want to drop silly money on the game.
If you want to win defenses, sure. If you want to farm easy gold from collectors in gold league, no.
I would say wait. I have maxed all my defenses as a th9 and I am working on lava walls and I just now decided to jump to th10. You don't want to be a premmie th10 because you will still lose defenses against hogs.
You are getting hogged because you have a design not equipped to deal with hogs, there are plenty of well known designs that will prevent this from happening. Look at both my accounts (currently both in Sagittarii) one of which is using trophy ringus with lab switched with TH to farm and the other is using a custom hog ring. Neither gets hogged often.

your base is not weak by any means and would comfortably adapt to th10 very well. defences are irrelevant once you have infernos as they just mop up farming armies in lower leagues. the only thing i would consider is whether your troops are strong enough to take the step forward as you will be preying on th9 and 10's. that being said the game is all about having fun and people forget that and take it to seriously. you dont have to max a th and its not required, do what you like.
