Hi guys,
I find that I always get excessive (full storages of) elixir at TH8 as there are not many upgrades that require the use of elixir apart from lab research whereas at TH9 you need to farm alot of elixir for the lv6 troops, lv7 army camps,spell factory,etc. Anyone of you face the same problem?How do you guys make use of the elixir so that it wont go to waste?
You just have to wait it out or you can have fun and spam somebody with peak as or drags:) also try to upgrade everything in lab to max level for your TH level. HOpe this helps!

And of course, since you don't need them as much, why bother protecting them as well as your gold and de ? :)
so I redesign my base to just protect my gold/de
Go on a raiding break and just go mass donations for exp. :D

This little Potato just let her excess Ribena spill to the ground - on occasion, she'd give a pot of it away for free...
I do use always elixir storages as bait for my attacker ;) but some time they raid from me 120k gold(by using rage spell).. I feel sad....
Im th9 but I had a similar experience with elixir, I just ended up upgrading both my dark barracks and getting balloons from lvl 3-6.
I love it. I waste my massive amounts of extra elixir on silly things like Pekka upgrades to level 2 and other random units I don't use
Try to get as high as possible in trophies with PEKKAs/dragons. You will notice that you can't ever have too much elixir when you spend 400k elixir per attack :o

At th9 seeing very similar where I go to bed with around 7.5 mil elixir, I'm doing dark e drills and barracks just to spend it. Each night I make 10 dragons and a few pekkas and just use to donate next day to the clan. All my elixir troops are fully maxed except balloons so guess will do that next.

max lightning spell--> any other spells you use
Max gold storage
Max dragons
Max pekkas
Max DE barracks
Max Gold mines
Plenty of stuff to spend elixir on, i always have excess but that is because the lab upgrades take a few days. i can always find ways to spend it or i am always saving up for something.
