How Should I React To Anti-Trophy Pushers

Just to caveat this, you need to be aware of how the trophy number for your clan is determined, because in a sense if there's a few folks in your clan that don't want to push, it's not a big deal if they're lower on the clan roster.

Clan Ranking

The clan ranking is based on the number of trophies of its members. This value is weighted according to the following table.

Rank in Clan (Members)	% of Trophies that Count Towards Score
1-10	50%
11-20	25%
21-30	12%
31-40	10%
41-50	3%

As you can see from this, it's really the players in your 1-20 spots that account for the majority of your clan trophy count, so if you have 10 or so people that don't want to push then so long as their in that 41-50 range at the bottom of your clan roster then you aren't losing out too much since their trophies will only account for 3% of the overall clan ranking. clans to me are supposed to be a cool group of people who donate and war often, while providing good conversation.

with that said, why should i have to push into high crystal if im finding great loot in gold 2?
yes i do sometimes trophy push, but when i do its because i want to, and i'll get joy from it, being forced to do it seems like a good way to sap the fun from the game.

not to mention if ur concerned about skill in ur clan, CW is a better way to measure their skill over an arbitrary number and badge that really means little since as we have seen even TH3's can make it into masters.

Make an incentive for people to do it such as making it a clan competition rather than demanding/requiring people to do it. ive got all troops unlocked so i find offering witches as a prize to the top 3 encourages people to participate or be a donation slave for like an hour or something. consider it a bribe and your members will love it!

how is this different than pushing?.. you are still attacking.

IMO.. a push once in a while makes you appreciate farming more. Sure it probably means a little less now with Cw.. but it's a good feeling when you know you can get your clan amongst the top clans in the world.

Seems to me you are forcing your clan to do something that all of your members didn't agree upon, and then you are getting upset and thinking of kicking those that do not abide by those rules. That is just plainly being a bad leader.

A good leader would ask the clan members what they want to do, and if a great majority agrees then you should lead your clan towards that agreement. But if 20 players say yes and 20 say no, then you are alienating those that don't agree with you.

I have very different feelings about your statement. In hardcore farming mode, you are attacking. In hardcore trophy pushing mode, you are attacking. Both involve attacking, but both are completely different in terms of goals for those attacks (resources vs. cups). So I disagree with your statement.

Yes I agree that pushing here and there does validate your efforts of farming, lets you flex your muscles and reap the benefits of your hard work in the form of defensive wins. I'm totally with you there........... BUT, I feel that this should be completely on your OWN terms, not based on the clan's. Timing is everything. What if a guy just reached a new TH level? He/she is in the worst place to be doing a trophy push, compared to the maxed TH 9 guy who has everything maxed out except he is just farming his lava walls.

This is why I'm not in a trophy pushing clan. I agree, pushing is great, but timing is everything, and very rarely (almost never) will it be a good time to push for EVERYONE in the clan.

The exception to this rule is for anyone trying to push for top 200 clans or higher in their country or in the world, basically to make it to the leader boards. But let's be realistic, a very small percentage of CoC players fall under that category. My 2 cents.

Just read your updated OP notes, the thing is, if players are only TH sniping to raise their trophies, they aren't exposing themselves to learn how to attack high level bases. Hopefully they are pushing properly using a full complement of troops.

I always would tell them that we do it so you learn how to attack with your best army and learn how to raid harder bases. It also lets them see how their base does on defense and how they should set it up.

Yes we have showed them some army compositions they could use so they could become more familiar with them. Hogs, Balloon & Minion, Mass Drag, etc.
