Balloon minon Viable in TH8 or no?

Is balloon minon viable at th th8? If so what league should i be in? (Note: Not there yet need to level up balloons to lvl 5 , 4atm and minions max, 1 atm.)

With max TH8 troops? Sure. But with level 4 loons and level 1 minions, you're not going to get anywhere attacking other TH8s, I don't think. I have enough trouble using the strat with level 4 loons and level 3 minions.

You definitely need to max those and it will be tough to attack TH9's as loons get a huge stat increase at level 6 and I can consistently get 75% on high level TH9's with them but I doubt that the level 5 loons would pack that much of a punch.

Once you get to lvl 5 loons you will be okay. Look for weak Air Defense or TH 7. Start with only Air Defense 3 and then when you are comfortable go after AD 4. Also look for AD near the edge. Only attack when there is 150 k elixir unless you are flowing. Never attack when Inferno is lit up and try to avoid Xbows facing up. Finally, lure the Clan Castle. It's a great strategy for work when you can only raid every hour.

I would try the gold leagues and find your sweet spot. Upgrade your baloons and minions and you should be able to handle TH8s whose wizard towers are are few upgrades behind. Don't try it with purple wiz towers using lvl 5 baloons. You will also need a healing spell for each wiz tower. I assume you understand the importance of clan troop killing with loons.

Sounds good. Mainly cuz i work lol. But i need to max out my Loons and Minons.

Funny, my experience has been that wiz towers are much more of a threat to baloonions than air defenses.

Minions level one will be adequate. I used them mainly to take out storages, mine and collectors.

I stay away from dark purple wiz towers and seem to be okay. I also use rage when necessary around Air defense.

What is Balloons:minion ratio?

I use 24 loons, 30 minions, 20 archers for CC and 3 rages. I try to not use rage and rarely use more than one. Important to remember that the next button is your best friend and never attack a base that does not meet your predefined standard no matter how frustrating is the search for good loot.
