I don't like this idea.
some people are looking for best clan. so they may change clans many time to find their desired one.
it is not fair if they can't leave a clan once they visit it.

Lol so you just stay in the first clan that invites you huh?
Everyone is a hopper when looking for a new permanent clan! Its fine to be picky about where you go, why wouldn't you? So why on earth would anyone need to be penalized so not liking your clan? Ooh 5 archers gone because you couldnt boot him fast enough, oh wellll. Manage your clan and dont worry about how many people you have in it, but how many core people. If someone comes in and leaves, whatever keep chatting with your clan like it didnt happen.
I think this is a great idea, but there is one thing I would change. Instead of a co or leader keeping them from leaving for 12h, maybe just keeping members ( not elders or cos) from requesting until they donate a certain number of troops. So when you make a clan or look in clan settings there is an option for minimum donations that a leader can set to 10, 20, 30, etc.
Those are all terrible ideas tbh. Forcing ppl to stay, keeping a log of who's been where and how long...blimey all a bit Heavy handed imo.
So hoppers are annoying. Set your clan to 'invite only' then.
Actually, our clan hasn't had any hoppers in a long time so this feature won't be that much of a use to us, however if someone is just visiting or searching for a clan, forcing them to stay can be annoying.
This isn't a problem unless you allow it to be. Ours is set on open and we only accept people when we are trying to move to a higher war count, then we accept several expecting some will fall off due to this. One clan is smart enough to not donate high level troops to people who just started and not to start a war with a new person in it unless they have do set and chatted a bit on the forum and we get a feel for them.
Chalk this up as not a problem and if your clan is having this problem, you could do things significantly differently to minimize or eliminate it with the tool already put in place combined with a little common sense.
People who want to force members to stay in their clans for whatever reason are so shortsighted...
I guess the kidnappee is an extra number in the clan for as long as they are locked in, but the damage that they could do whilst held captive could be huge... Bad mouth you on global, donate really crappy troops, dont do war attacks, make chat a really unpleasant place to be...
In my opinion, there is never any point "forcing" someone to stay where they dont want to be.. Whether they are a "hopper", a war defector or what... Plus, look at it from the other side... just imagine you are looking for a new clan and you are forced to stay in a clan that you totally know that you are not a fit for.. Way to ruin your day....
