Heyo! The 8, maxed defenses (cept walls) , going for drk elixer ug. I found that theres better loot in gold two-one, but as I'm using barch, I keep struggling to get the 50% (as I'm only going for the dark elixer part, different from collector farming where I'm going for a large chunk of the base) and continue to fall into gold three. I'm using a farming base, not sure to use a hybrid base or what or possibly a different attack start.
Sadly, this is quite a universal problem, as I had this in C3 while farming de too. I was, however, going after mostly drill raids and hence I could usually barch 50% off th9's, sometimes th10's.
I think you just have to find a balance of trophies and de - how much de do you want to get each trophy? For me, 100 was good, but I took less depending on circumstance. Also, it might be useful to snipe every townhall you see [if you're not doing so already]
