Max Out or Move Up: TH7 - TH8

Thanks for the advice. I dont really see the max out thing. For my lab I have maxed out everything except the Rage Spell, Minions, and hog rider. I use mass archers and sometimes giant healer. I have maxed defenses except for 46 walls. I know I need max out more but I'm not premier by any means. I don't have that much left to do or upgrade. Thanks for your opinions. Good luck.

No it doesn't. When you get to th8 you just gouge th7 bases instead

Which he can do now without the penalty. Maxed 7s have no problem taking fellow 7s. New 8s are nothing more than maxed 7s (if you did that) with a loot penalty. I definitely found upgrading at 7 much easier than at 8.

I'd go ahead and go TH8 more fun. more stuff to upgrade.

I was pretty much in the same boat in terms of how far along on TH7 I was when I decided to move to TH8. Archer 5 and barb 5's are pretty worth it, and make barching pretty easy to get into those trophy ranges where you can find more DE. I've got about 3 gold walls left out of the new 50 you get when moving up, and all of the defenses are built and most are upgraded at least once or twice (arch tower is up to 7, wiz tower up to 3, tesla at 1).

The big jump for TH8 is the troops getting to level 5.

:D That's ^^^^ what I like to see --- 7s feed deeply on these kind of 8s. And, I love to see the 9s & 10s do the same thing --- easy pickins. :D

So, I'm wrong --- go ahead folks, upgrade those THs just as fast as you can we need targets.

I would upgrade to TH8.

Max out everything but MAYBE your barb king

At th 8 you can get (IMO) way more gold and elixir, if you farm near gold 3 you can have 5 builders active always

As your defences are maxed and your walls are decently higher i would say go ahead as long as your barbs, archers, giants, goblins, wizards, balloons, and wallbreakers are maxed too. I was at about where u were about a month or two ago when i upgraded and it worked out well. Try to save up 2 million+ gold for the walls and new defenses at th 8. Keep calm and clash on :)
