Max Out or Move Up: TH7 - TH8

I went down to sub200 this morning and did amazing. got 12 walls upgraded and a barracks going to lvl.9 . More opinions please. btw my clanmates said I should upgrade. :)

Yesterday I got a few more walls done and I finally upgraded dragons to lvl. More opinions please. Thanks and Good luck

As a TH8 you will feel lesser difference in terms of offense if compared to TH7 and TH9.
At least max those walls before moving.

I am not a "MAX EVERYTHING!!!" purist, but this time I recommend that you max out. Loot is great for th7, if you go to th8 then you will have to defend against th9 which you simply don't stand a chance against.

Max those collectors, max the barracks and while they are upgrading keep working on the walls. Don't worry about bk, you can upgrade him with the elixir from your DE drill from TH8. It should be about 2 more weeks but trust me, it will be worth it.

I was in the same predicament as you, but i finally finished all my upgrades and walls, now i'm gathering gold for the move to TH8, in my opinion it was worth it, wont be an easy prey for those n00bs TH8 and TH9 that rush thru the TH levels. Good luck 1Platinum!!

max it out! i maxed my th7 and it was the best choice i made on clash of clans!

th7 is one of the, if not the best farming level in the game

why people want to rush this stage without completely maxing boggles my mind

if u goto th8, all those other upgrades dont magically upgrade with it, so u may as well just upgrade everything while u can feast on fat th6s

cause at th8, u will have to start pickin on th7 which is not always so easy, trust me the first 2 weeks of th8 can be rough

im about a month into th8 after maxing everything except hogs, and my bk was lvl1

trust me, maxing is a good idea ... particularly your walls and your barracks

Max it, especially anything to do with army --- at 7 it's a lot easier than 8 to max out and the loot penalty will come into play. I maxed everything in 7 and filled my storages before upgrading to 8. I was able to immediately upgrade the lab and begin getting lvl 8 troops. Just because you're an 8 those 7 lvl troops still have the headache of gold and black guns.

Besides...it's a heck of a lot of fun as a maxed 7 taking on those early to mid 8s.:cool:

I'm a TH7 as well and I'd recommend maxing out first.

Certainly good advice to mostly max stuff out, but don't think you have to do absolutely everything.

TH8 means you can level up your Archers and Barbs to level 5, not to mention Wizards (which finally get to "bad-a$$" status there).

We often hear that "TH7" is the best for loot, but in my experience TH8 is excellent, and perhaps better than TH7, since now you can hit TH7s like a big dog. There's a lot of raiding to do at TH8, Teslas up to level 6, etc.

Level 5 Archers and Barbs, look for 100,000 or more Gold available in Silver I - that's what I did, mostly. Purposely drop down to just above 1100 (so you retain the Silver I bonuses) and when you see the 100,000 or more Gold and that very-noticeable TH7, then Happy Days.

With boosted Barracks, I did the 12,500,000 Gold for five level 10 Archer's Towers in one day, probably 8 hours of raiding.
