Southern teasers

Hey guys. I want to try out a southern teaser base. Just a few questions before i make one. Are southern teasers a viable defense? What makes a southern teaser a southern teaser (ie: anti-hog bases should have an unlurable cc, double giant bombs, etc)? Thanks for the help.

a southern teaser is a base that appears to be weaker in the south which should lead attackers to attack from there when in actuality it is really strong in the south. they are viable if done right and the attacker takes the bait.
