Today my clan is in our first clan war against a bunch of these players... Sucks because i just got my first three stars on my 2 raids after a two push. We were all psyched because of the push ready. This clan came up and they look easy. Well the first raid was on player one and only the top players. Wth? Then we started noticing. And realized that they are ♥♥♥♥♥ing. Its one thing to have the ability to raid a base on the first and only try and receive 100% but not on the 20th try. Good for the other clan! Lol. We could devour those bases too. Very sad. It takes all the fun out. I agree with you. Proud of your clan. You are the real true winners!Quote:

I.mod is the biggest thing out there preventing fair play, not ghosting.
It's a problem thats only growing and they have shown very little reason to believe it will be stopped any time soon.
The message seems to be if you want to compete fairly with top players and clans you must use the same dirty methods to compete.
This is analogous to the NFL banning all talk of steroids but not actively testing & punishing those using them. This causes other players to use them if they want to be the best or even just make the team because there is no fear of punishment. The players that were recently caught were just not smart enough to realize how obvious their cheeting was to everyone or just didnt care because they know SC gives out wimpy punishments. The smart ones are getting away with it because its undetectable to another user.
If this was a fair game I'm sure many more people such as myself would attempt to push into top 100. As it is now I know I'm at a disadvantage so I won't put in the effort, time, and money for the struggle against those having such an advantage.
It's because these developers are scammers themselves. They increase loot penalties in updates to drive more Gem buying revenue. The game is a ploy and goes after those who have invested the most time, TH10s. They know you are not just going to up and quit. So they let you Next 90% of the time just getting frustrated.
All this ghosting and che ating in CW's has been talked about since the day it came out. I think that has been cut down to 30 seconds though. Had a few doing it in our war yesterday and that's about how long it lasted each time. But it still gives the che aters Tesla locations etc.
But yeah, all this Nexting and CW's being a bust leaves little room to ever tell someone positive things about this little basic game.

Not really, never ever bought gems for this game, currently a TH9 with max defenses and elixir upgrades, doing walls and heroes. 1800+ saved up, going for my 5th builder. NEVER used it for any major amounts of resources (10 gems tops at a time)Quote:

While this is true, I dont see the benefit of allowing more people to learn about these cheets. So why not close the topics discussing them as they are already aware of it. once people figure out what it is and how to get it, its not difficult to get at all, and it would just increase usage by increasing peoples knowledge of it.Quote:

While I understand many people are frustrated with the ghosting in CW or other c h e a t ing in the game, I also want to say that c h e a t e r s are everywhere -- in schools, in sports, in politics, and almost all areas in life. Some get caught but many don't. You don't stop living just because other people c h e a t in life. So why stop playing the game just because there are people who c h e a t ?
And yes ghosting is very common in CW nowadays. But a good base design with appropriate levels of defence and walls (i.e. not a premature TH) can often prevent being 3 starred every time even if the opponent has ghosted your base several times before the real attack.
First of all, in most wars, two stars is good enough, 1 star is okay.. three star is great. When attacking high level bases, two stars is GREAT. I am not a premmie th and have almost maxed th9 defenses. This guy ghosted me 5 times to end up 2 starring me... so your argument is invalid.. YOU can THREE star a base IF you ghost atleast 5-6 times, than you can figure out how to attack. Many of our bases were three starred because of that.Quote:
