[Optimus] TH7 Transformer Base

This is a very cool farming base i must try this out :)

true. Giants are going to be problematic when all mortars are in the same compartment. All the TH7 bases I have seen have very lureable cc, including this one. It's impossible to place cc totally behind walls and still have a decent layout.

more reasons to go to TH8 fast. 50 more walls make base design a lot more fun

Very nice layout! I like the triangulated mortars. :3

However, your resource placment could use some work. Few wbs and its $$$ for mass goblins. For some weird reason, I've been seeing alot of TH9 use goblins against my base.. so yeah. just a heads up. :x the meanie greenies are here!!

If you had actually read the thread which you didn't, I stated that the Clan Castle was unlurable except at to the north or when using defense-targeting troops. Forgive me if I wasn't clear enough. I agree that my core is quite big and it can be a big disadvantage, but at TH7 you can't do much- once I get to TH8 I plan to make an improved version of this.

Thanks Avernicus :) Note that I am protecting my elixir in the showcase, I don't care much if my gold gets looted :p Thats why I have gbomb placed there so I can drink some meanie greenie soup :rolleyes:

I started using this base a while ago, and so far the only raids that have gotten 2 stars were TH8's with mazes troops, or TH9's. I have never been 3 starred (only sitting at 1300 trophies though) Thanks so much for this, it has really helped.

However, I'm just wondering, have you tested the hybrid version yet? If not, do you know of a good one? I just don't like the offset clan castle... I'm looking to go to 1400-1500 trophies to upgrade my BK and I'm really bad at pushing. Thanks!

The Hybrid version is now in its finished form but is looking for improvements, because I can't test it in Crystal league at the moment (being 3 starred by all out TH9/10s). The updated design does not compromise the lurability of the Clan Castle. If you can't view the updated design try resetting your cache.

Too bad i am not a TH 7 anymore. Fairly decent farming layout for TH 7. A fellow TH 7 will sure have some trouble but a TH 8+ can easily take it down, that's how the game is. Good job.

Of course- at TH7 and below you are the target of those people with upgraded army buildings and troops. Thanks for the feedback though :o

Because it is a farming base, the Town Hall is situated in the corner of the base. If this isn't to your liking you could put it closer to defenses.
