If it is 5PM, then set it to Chinese, and watch those collector raids pile up!:p

statistically speaking, you would encounter more higher loot bases because you are quite simply... Attacking more bases.
if your not gem boosting and you see 2 bases in every 10 that are worth hitting... then when gemming you would see 4 in every 20, but it would seem like more.
I seriously doubt they have written an algorithm into the game to give you better bases when you spend gems.
It's spelled 'psychological', don't correct others if you don't even know the language yourself lol.
At OP, it sounds really interesting, I'm going check it myself someday. It would make sense if it's true, but it would be really bad if SC kept a secret like this from the players. I don't think it's true though.
I boosted 3 barracks yesterday. Spent the last 35 minutes of those two hours nexting for two attacks. Couldn't even find a decent storage raid for over 200k gold. So, op, I must respectfully disagree.
I boost something every time i sit down to raid and still get good days and bad so I dont think that theres any truth in this.
Actually, in the U.S., 'spelled' is preferred, but in Britain, 'spelt' is more commonly used. Same as burned and burnt.
To OP: I don't think this can be possible. It seems like it would be too complicated of an idea- SC would have to edit the number of inactive bases according to how many barracks you boosted.
