So i am doing a push with loonion. Using 20 loons and 60 minions. But since im boosting all of my barracks i only get like 1 spell per raid and i keep losing and winning. Did 2 boost sessions but havent gain or lose a trophy yet. It's realy annoying. I'm at 2427. Do you think should i stop boosting and boost only SF? It seems like that would be slow.

You can still use 20-60, that's what I used to go to champions. Just boost your spell factory and you'll get you four spells during the 40 minutes cooking time :-)

I feel your pain. I got stuck in the exact same place the first time I went to Masters as a TH9.
You definitely get to a place where you need to use more than 1 spell on occasion. It's usually in that upper Crystal I to Masters III range in my experience. You can next through to find easier bases, but they get further and further apart the higher you go.
I run with 24 loons and the rest minions (TH9 and TH10) with all 4 loon rax and SF boosted up until around Crystal I.
Then I drop down to 3 barracks boosted and 1 running regular speed. It gives me three rage spells per two attacks, so I still look for the easier 1 spell attacks, but have a second one for every other attack.
Then when I get into Masters III I shift to a 2 boosted and 2 regular so I have 2 rage spells for every attack.
Once you get into a "farming zone" you can go back to boosting all 4 with 1 spell and recognize that you will lose a few here and there.

my storages were very exposed, they were covered by my X-Bows and in range of my Wiz Towers though. The Barchers helped them selves and I got over 100 trophies in C1 (couple nights woke up to 50 sum trophies) which helped a lot on the quest for M3!
Army;
B'linion army; 28 Loons 40 Minnys (16-20 Loons was too unreliable)
24/50 may work but will need good timing with spells, I usually Farm with that compo. it can usually get the goods, and a win too on the right set up base layout. But again I'm going for the win here and more loons means more DPS to defenses...
Clan Castle;
since I packed so many B'loons I always requested Minions for my back up. a Dragon will work too, or even more loons.
Spells;
option 1: 2 Rage 1 Heal 1 Light(Thor); sometimes the CC is full of Archers a quick Thor makes fast work of them. or the builder Hut or Royal's-Alter get destroyed from max Thor.
option 2: 2 Rage 2 Heal. (if you need the Royals Heal comes in handy, mine are very low level so it helped a lot)
These suited me the best, All rage may also work, but a heal in the presence of Wiz tower or lower leveled A/Def helped my B'loons out a lot.
I always Boost the SF during my session, and maybe boost Royals too (AQ anyhow) but I am cheap so I didn't wanna rely on gems so I boosted the SF and maybe one Rax to get a raid every 1/2 hour or so. raid in like 90-120 min sessions (or more if I have time to)
Finally was base selection. this is the key. B'linion can at least one star most TH9s so those were my targets, just keep skipping... if you happen to see any exposed THs or TH8 (or anything lower for that rare case) enjoy the easy trophies.
For TH 10s... look for premie defense turrets, and poor setups. upgrading ITs,WTs,ADefs, X-bows down, etc...
if they have centralized X-Bows pointed up covering WT, and A/Defs, skip it
if they have mulit target Infernos, skip it; unless they are in the very center, you may be able to chew around the base for 50%
Royals; I tried to rely on my B'linions and spells to win, if I was outta loons and emptied my CC with 45-47% or so then I put them in the least defended area for the 50% win and loot bonus!
just be patient, and very judicious with the next fee.

That is what witelightningHWD used to get really far into champs as a th9. He also used 6 clan castle loons. His YT channel is mystlc7if you want to see this strategy work.Quote:
